most of that first list ,some of them are no better than Noah brown.
I get your point about the list, but …dude…every receiver mentioned in the entire thread is better than Noah Brown! That guy made a few catches early because defenses totally ignored him. Once they actually assigned any DB to him, he was done.

We desperately need 1) SPEED or 2) a solid possession guy who moves the chains

I thought that I heard somewhere that Higgins could be an option....I'm all in on him or Allen. El Passo on Hopkins, JuJu, Cooks....I'll take Woods if we are talking about as a #3 to share time Gallup....so long Noah!!! ***Crossing fingers***
Hopkins changes everything IMO. Look at his production. Missing 6 games, and having 4 different QBs throwing him the ball. On a very bad Cardinals team.

You missed 3) Large catch radius

I've seen a lot of comments about adding WRs who, IMO, won't make a BIG difference.

Robert Woods
JuJU
Jakobi
Slayton
DJ Chark

These guys are nice players but they aren't the impactful WR1a we need.

To take the next step, I believe we need an alpha WR. Like these guys:
Deandre Hopkins
Odell Beckham
Mike Evans

CeeDee is developing nicely and this isn't a reflection on him.

But you can see it... you need an AJ Brown AND Devonta Smith. A Jamar Chase AND Tee Higgins.

I think Odell is our best chance at one of these guys. (fingers crossed)
Why do we need a 1? CeeDee is our one ..... We need a good two.

most of that first list ,some of them are no better than Noah brown. Seriously make a difference, show me? better list please

2nd list seriously how so you can NOT use draft picks and pay players 20+ mil as a compliment to CD whose about to get paid. Odell makes sense but hes NO Alpha but if healthy and his demands are in the realists area sure

But Thomas, dhop and Evans would require draft picks to trade and big$$, so no..if they truly believe that whats needed go do in the draft ie Ceedee is like AjBrown and go get a smith in the draft,., makes more sense.
The first list is precisely what you said... no better than what we have. That's what I am saying.

The second list is IMMEDIATE help. I'm all for the draft, but expecting a rookie WR (in this draft class) to make an immediate impact with the 26th pick isn't realistic.

I think Odell is the best fit. No draft capital and should sign for a reasonable number.

That was the point of the end of my post. We have a good 1.

But to be competitive nowadays, in the playoffs, you need a 1 and a 1a. A Brown AND Smith

we will be fine.. no need to be desperate for WR let one come to us draft or FA I will not trade picks and pay a Vet FA 20mil to be our 2 or 3. it why we let AC walk... Gallup will come around to his old form, we all hope anyway, and we can pick up a nice draft pick and vet FA who's available without a trade or huge contract.

this is way to early to worry about.. FA, drafts, and all the releases right before cut down for the 23 season will have a lot of options to get this handled. maybe Tolbert or one of these youngins who rode the PS this past year makes leap.

Why not just draft one. I've read that there are some good receivers in the upcoming draft.

I'm not sure how you can say OBJ is washed. Last we saw him play he was at an elite level.
Who knows? The man hasn't played much in couple of years.
If cowboys do get him, you can almost guarantee that Jerry will over pay, just to get a name brand.

The only one of those that is a realistic difference maker for Dak is DHop. His catch radius could make a difference.

Maybe Mike but even with his size his real strength is getting behind the defender and having the ball placed in front of him so he can shield the defender and use his length. But that still requires a pretty tight window throw.
This would be my #1 target. Would LOVE DHop in Dallas.

That first list are Jags and will probably be over priced. They are Gallup types Gallup will probably be better this year than he was last year. Now if your talking about a #3 guy? Maybe, but would have to be reasonable price.

Who said you need a Chase/Higgins? Thats ridiculous.

We had Lamb/Cooper and what did that do for us?

WE NEED A GREAT OLINE!!

That will make the rest of our offense work like a well oiled machine. All the weapons in the world dont matter unless you can give your QB time to throw and your backs holes to run.
We need a GREAT QB

Yep, let’s waste another year on #3 Gallup and maybe draft another WR who won’t contribute right away.
We are desperate for a #2, and we should get one in FA. TY, Tolbert, Gallup, let them fill out the bottom

Wait…..so your saying we need mahomes? Lol

another stellar conclusion.

if only more GMs around the nfl knew what you knew.

hate to break it to you but mahomes needs a great oline too. Learn football.
duh we need mahomes. Lol
Didn't mention Mahomes. But Dak isn't the answer. We spent 3 spent first round picks in 5 years on OL who were all in their prime when Dak came into the league. So far we've managed 2 wildcard wins in his 7 years.
