There were too many times when it was inconsistent. Adding quality backups would help significantly.

These guys are nice players but they aren't the impactful WR1a we need.

To take the next step, I believe we need an alpha WR. Like these guys:
Deandre Hopkins
Odell Beckham
Mike Evans

CeeDee is developing nicely and this isn't a reflection on him.

But you can see it... you need an AJ Brown AND Devonta Smith. A Jamar Chase AND Tee Higgins.

I think Odell is our best chance at one of these guys. (fingers crossed)

Would agree on most of the post although Beckham is such a risk, probably wouldn't sign him unless a team friendly deal and doubt it. Of the others, I like the upside of Chark the most. Another name that could be in the mix is Parris Campbell, who is a kid that checks the right boxes but has had some injury problems himself. He seems like someone about to really breakout.

On a side note, seems like the coaching staff still believes Tolbert is going to be in the mix and contribute quite a bit. Seeing is believing for me on him.

Also they need to be careful who they bring in before Lamb is locked up. If you bring in a big time guy right now, how do you carry that, plus Gallup, plus re-sign Lamb?

Some of my favorite WRs in the draft are slot studs. Dudes that are a little bigger, faster and more explosive than Beas but we don’t draft them bc they aren’t 6’2.

KC is unique in that they paid Kelce bc he’s their #1. Him and MVS will be a combined 20 mil cap hit next year. And they traded for a 1st rounder…and they drafted a 2nd rounder.

GB didn’t last year…and they sucked so kind of irrelevant.

Dak's win rate is over 90% when:
Cowboys rush for over 100 yards.
Cowboys hold opponent to less than 140.

It bumps to over 95% if they rush for greater than 4.5 yards/carry.

There are younger options whose best days aren't behind them and haven't had two knee surgeries in recent years. They just won't sell as many jerseys.

Rodgers, Herbert, Allen, Burrow, all QB’s, none got there. Reid’s time in Philly, he didn’t get to the SB until he got T.O. Hurts got there this year, you think he gets there without Brown and Smith?

Dak is not getting there without a near perfect team. That means a real #2 or kick *** tight end. I don’t know if we will find one.
