Whatever it is, I like it. Yeah, I hate the two 15 yard penalties he had and he's still a bad tackler: always will be, BUT he's laying wood back there and the Eagles were SCARED to go over the middle. His headhunting job on Celek was useful because it took him out of the game and I said last week that guy is SOFT: so is Jackson. Maclin is their only receiver with any cajones IMO. So................Hamlin isn't all pro but at least he's going all out and jacking some people up now....big difference from earlier in the season.;)

My only problem with the Celek hit is it never gets called when it happens to us.

The offsetting penalties were bogus. Hamlin did nothing wrong on that play. But I didn't appreciate the late hit on Maclin. That type of thing is bush league and totally unnecessary. It also hurts the team to the tune of 15 yards. There's just no place for it. I hope Hamlin sets a better example for the young guys next week.

The contact with his facemask on Maclin was a very weak call. And on the hit on Maclin after that Maclin was inbounds lunging for a 1st down because he was never down. I have no idea how that was even a penalty.

Really!! Did you see Maclin totally take his eyes off the ball and look at Hamlin cause he was SCARED to take a hit last week against us? Maclin is just as soft..

The late hit on Maclin didn't look late to me. He was inbounds and he still kept trying to get to the 1st down marker. Hamlin just tried to keep him from getting a 1st.

That wasn't a late hit unless you subscribe to the theory that it is only late when the Cowboys do it.

I thought Maclin was already touched and down. My bad.

Celek pulled the old "soccer flop" trick .. he acted like he was really hurt bad, goes out for a play or two and then plays the rest of the game without a problem.

QFT

It's amazing how many times Tony gets hit after he's thrown the ball or a player will pile on after a tackle.

I think Hamlin’s is doing a fine job playing team defense as all these guys are. It was great seeing CB running with the WR and the safety picking them up as the CB would then release off of the WR. Guys have bought in 100% with what Wade wants in this unit. This defense is playing like a well oiled machine

Good point Mansta: I forgot Maclin was soft last week too...my beer induced haze makes certain facts during these games a little hard to remember!

Some of his plays were flat out stupid but I did like the hit on Celek. I don't have anything on Celek but he can't hit the D-man who hit Crayton so payback was good. Funny how it was a flag THIS time.

I like the nastiness, but you have to know when to do it and when not to. He was doing it when the game was pretty much in hand. I have nothing bad to say about his or Jenkins actions. Screw the Eagles. This was a fight and there aren't any nice fights.

Not to mention someone from the team that actually hit Crayton...

Both of the penalties on Hamliin were bull**** in my opinion. The hit on Celek was with the shoulder pad. No penalty should've been called. Was it a hard hit? Absolutely. This IS football. It wasn't dirty. It wasn't late. It was a hard legal hit. The offsetting penalty on him after he was smacked in the face was also bull****. What did he do other than get in the guy's face? Just two of the poor calls that went Filthy's way. Good thing it didn't help them.

Sometimes you have to do some nasty things to set the tone of the game.

Hamlin was playing inspired ball yesterday.

Was it a cheapshot on Celek? Maybe. When things are slowed down via replay things can look a lot different than in real time.

I guarantee people's heads will be on a swivel now going across the middle.

How about Sens? He made some nice plays too. Really solidified things back there. What a difference a cover safety can make.
