Make this post a sticky if you want but I mark it down. Randy Moss will be a Commander next year. Little Danny loves to play keeping up with the "Jones" and what better way then to get Randy Moss.

I wouldn't be surprised if this transpired. Another move I fear they could make is nabbing Priest Holmes if the Chiefs decide they want to part ways with his contract. Holmes is 50/50 to be medically cleared to play again but has said that if he has that clearance he wants to continue playing ball.

Doesn't matter that they already have Portis and Betts, overabundance at a position is not enough for Danny to hold of on signing a big name, especially if Al Saunders pushes for Holmes.

what? another 30+ year-old head-case WR?

no thanks.

owens will probably play a couple more years (for someone). moss has no work ethic and doesn't care -- he may be done.

I' dont know how much money all this would take, but if Dallas signed T.O I dont see why we wouldnt sign Randy Moss. He wants out of Oakland. He wanted to play real bad for the Cowboys. Of course this would have to mean T.O is gone after this season. I can see that happening.

:lmao2:
We should take a look at him just because the quitter wants out of Oakland? Are you pulling our collective leg?
Don't we have enough problems in Dallas?

some people swear that once a loser puts on a cowboys uniform, they get great again. well, till they suck then suddenly the uniform doesn't have the same weight behind it.

It won't happen, but if the Raiders would take T.O. straight up for Moss, I'd do that trade in a second. Moss' problems are different from Owens IMO in that Moss is not mentally unstable like T.O. Moss is just frustrated by the losing in OAK, Owens doesn't care about wins or losses at all as long as he gets his catches. Big difference. I'd like to see Moss here as there aren't many other appealing options. Plus, you just know Moss is still hurt that he wasn't drafted by Dallas and would love to come here and prove everyone wrong about him. I know there's risk but I'd take a shot w/Moss.

Roy Williams- WR
FTW

He seems to be a big fan of the state of Texas and i'm sure he will become fed up with the Lions organization.

On a serious note:

No

We have some very good young receivers on this team......coach them up and get them ready to play.

Spend the money on another pass rusher or OL.

does Randy Moss coach defense? does he create pressure on QB's? does he come up with some flavor other than vanilla for pass coverages?

Gibbs won't adopt Randy Moss. Granted, Gibbs has had players that have developed into headcases (e.g., Dexter Manley, Sean Taylor) but I don't ever remembering him bringing in widely recognized and confirmed screwballs.

As a California native who sees a lot of Oakland games sadly, I can tell you one thing:

Randy Moss is done. He doesn't have that speed anymore, that incredible jump ball ability nor does he have the will to play anymore.

IF terrell is to be gone after this season then I can think of 3 better options at WR instead of Moss(who I think will end up in Miami reunited with Culpepper).

1) Roy Williams(if he does indeed become a FA)

2) Draft a good one(the kid out of ND) and/or coach up who we already have.

3) Jerry Porter(if he is healthy enough, bad hip..?). He has big potential, even though he is disgruntled in Oakland. I believe a good organization, owner, and coach can change his attitude.

not only is there a chance of no more TO, but also this could be the end of the line 4 glenn as well with his bad knee and all.
