I think some will over hype it in their minds and it will be hard to live up to that hype.

Who cares why the brought it back as long it is good. Still not getting my hopes up but will continue to watch to give it a chance.

I liked part one of the first episode but it seemed to me like Gillian Anderson's acting seemed a teeny bit depressed. She has always played Scully straight laced and monotoned, which she's always been great at performing, but it seemed like she was a tad subdued this time around--like she was silently saying why was she reprising the role again. It's probably my imagination.

I thought Sveta's assassination was somewhat overkill. One of my favorite parts was Sveta telling Scully she didn't know about being abducted, looking closer into Scully's eyes, and immediately saying that perhaps Scully does know what it feels like to be abducted.

Not gonna lie that's part of the reason I loved Californication. Lol. I just couldn't picture David playing that kind of guy he did in Californication after what I saw of him in x files. He did a great job.

Based on his off screen life he isn't acting in Californication.
