The #Vikings aren’t done: They’re signing former #Cowboys safety Xavier Woods to a 1-year deal worth up to $2.25M, source said. A perfect system fit and high upside.

His angles of pursuit didn't match the ideal approach, though.

He was good when he was more of a FS/CB hybrid. When he locked down the FS spot his instincts seemed to go bye bye. He played like he was thinking way too much. Im 2018 when they had him coming down and covering the slot, he played much more instinctively.

I think if you make him more of a high usuage subpackage player VS a full time FS, you might get much better play out of him

Living proof that being, altogether, too honest can be the kiss of death.

I'd be quite willing to wager that he won't make that mistake again!

It seemed as though playing under the guidance of Nolan was deadly.
