Xbox live?

Do any of you guys play online? My wife got me an xbox 360 a few weeks ago and I just started playing a few games. I think I'd like the online experience better, so my wife is on her way to Radio Shack to get a 3 month subscription.

I'm using my mac instead of the wireless adapter, which saves me about a $100 since I won't have to buy that.

What is a good game (besides Madden) to play online?

Just curious.

I usually only play 1st person games online although I really liked Burnout Paradise until EA started up one of the biggest scams I have ever seen.

The 1st battlefield was good but I haven't played the second one yet. The Halo games are always towards the top of the played list and ODST had a new multiplayer game type against the CPU that was pretty good.

Modern Warfare 2 was good until cheating took the game over. I'm done playing that game until they fix that garbage.

I don't play sports games online. I don't really play sports games at all. Every game is the same as the last and there are always stupid quirks about the game that ruin the online experience.

I play Modern Warfare 2, Left 4 Dead 2, and UFC 2010 online (Though i haven't done much with UFC online yet) and I enjoy all of them on there.

MW2 can be frusturating at times because you play against a bunch of people who are leveled up far more than you are, they know all the makes perfectly and thus know where all the best camping spots are and you'll often find yourself running into groups of people do do nothing but camp which can be frusturating at times but I still have a blast even when they're doing that and even though I'm not real good at the game still.


I'm waiting to get Madden 2011 when it comes out (I have it reserved) and I believe I've reserved a copy of Call of Duty Black Ops that comes out in November so those are the next two games I know for sure I'll be getting.

I've yet to play any of them online. I've got the entire COD line, minus that one that reaaaaally sucked. Must've been #2 or #3.

I've yet to reserve Black Ops, but I reserved Gears of War 3 the day after it was announced. Comes out in April of 2011.

I play COD: Modern Warfare 2 all the time, but it has gotten a bit frustrating. all the glitching, modding, and other little things have began to make me mad. seems like I'm using a butter knife and rubber bullets sometimes.

I'm hoping that they have online stuff where you can play seasons with friends and I want to get a bunch of people together to play through some seasons and have fun that way.

I like the Famas because it is a 3-shot burst weapon just like the M16 but you don't get the M16 until level 40. The M-16 is a beast.

So I usually like the Famas because it keeps me in rhythm with the 3-shot.

Plus, it's incredibly accurate and has a good sized mag.

The scar is good but it has a pretty short mag. I'd recommend sleight of hand if you were going to use it. One good thing about the scar is that it has the least intrusive iron sights on the game so you don't really have to use an attachment on the red dot. I like to use the scar with a silencer and cold blooded because of that reason.

The Tar is pretty good but it is pretty inaccurate compared to the other weapons and the red dot sight for it is disgustingly big.

If you don't mind being slowed down, the RPD light machine gun is pretty nasty when you get the grip on it. I usually bling it out with grip and FMJs (if you got em) because the clip is so big that you don't need sleight of hand or scavenger. It too has pretty good iron sights so you don't really need a sight.

I never snipe, nearly always have a stinger because I don't trust other players to take the air support out.

I would hop on and play some time with you but I refuse to play that game anymore. I got modded to such an extent that I won't play the game until they fix that problem.

The last time I played, I think I went from 18-38 in a night of gaming. It was a pretty long night but I was just kind of seeing where I could end up at. And it was double points weekend.

I've prestiged a few times. You get more challenges to unlock after the 1st prestige so it gets a little easier to rank as you move up and they are cumulative.

There's some really simple challenges that you can complete to get some easy points.

One of the easiest ones I have seen is to shoot an opponent with your primary weapon and finish him with a secondary handgun. Piece of cake if you run up behind someone. It's worth like 4500.

go through the Barracks and look at the challenges. A lot are easy. kills while crouching or prone, stuff like that.

I expected to be in trouble though, for the most part, cause I just got my X-Box so not only have these folks been playing this particular game since November but they've been playing the CoD franchise for a couple of years now and I'd never played it. So I'm on a real learning curve here.

the Scar-H is probably my favorite assualt rifle in the game. the iron site is brilliant, it has nice power, accuracy, and fire rate. the only thing I don't like is the magazine size. here are a couple of my classes:

Scar-H silenced with scavenger, stopping power, and commando

Vector rapid fire with scavenger, cold blooded, and ninja(for hardcore)
