You do have a point. But it takes two to tango.Right. But the "offered and turned down $33M" headline was designed for one thing. Just calling it out early.

Thanks for fixing that.Fixed for you

Too late for that. I wanted jerry to sign dak early last offseason. before wentz and goff. front office played chicken with Dak and lost. now they have to payI think that is about where he should be paid. I have said it all along, paid more that Wentz but less than Goff and that was before the season started. I still stand by that.
this is from September and has been discussed a bazillion times. we needed another thread for something not new?
and who's gonna play QB?No they don't. Let him walk. That will blow his ego back down to earth.
Every year same deal, different name but same deal. Refusing to play football for 27 mil a year, smh. How did that Zeke deal pan out?!
I disagree. I think they should stick to their guns. He did not make the playoffs this year. Is it all on him? Of course not but he is the qb of the team to lead to wins.Too late for that. Without knowing how much is fully guaranteed, and for how long, these numbers mean nothing either way. They could literally be anything from a great deal for the Cowboys to a salary cap killer.
I would agree with you if our defense wasn't bad and our special teams wasn't garbage. You can't lose 2/3 of the game and expect to win. Dak had control of the offense and the offense was not a problem in 2019I disagree. I think they should stick to their guns. He did not make the playoffs this year. Is it all on him? If we're just dealing in rumors I heard the problem with Dak is that he wants a shorter contract so he can renegotiate a couple years into the new CBA, which might have a higher share of revenues going to players. IF that's true the issue isn't that he wants to trap the team in a long-term mega money deal like everyone here is worried about, but rather that he wants a shorter deal than the team itself wants and is betting on himself to earn a real blockbuster in 2022 or whatever.
As long as we're going nuts over rumors...
And yours are accurate.
It's not the money that's holding it up, it's the length of the deal.
Prescott and his agent want a shorter deal to get out into the next CBA and salary cap sooner.
