That is the trigger? I thought the trigger was any Dallas Cowboys fan questioning officiating that results in negative outcomes for the team.I think the person you quoted is triggered and or Dak is disguise.

Exactly right. Average annual salary isn’t nearly as big a factor as guaranteed amount, signing bonus and length of the contract.33mil doesn't tell much.
The devil is in the details as they say.33mil doesn't tell much.
Wentz's deal was worth up to $34m if he stays healthy. Base was $32m. Dak is better than wentz with no injury history. That article doesn't show the length and guaranteed $$ so it's worthless.
A well coached team gets them to the Superbowl. Niners were nothing and Sha-na-na Jr. took them to the big dance w/Brady's backup in just 3 years being a first time head coach. When he takes us to 2 SBs in a row like Wilson did, or plays like Mahomes... yea, then we can talk about that blank check.
Dak will get no less than 35. That’s where I hope it goes, but I can see him getting 37. Any more than that I might freak. But then it ain’t my money and the cap continually goes up. It’ll all work out.I don't care if he turned it down, that's just what is being reported. Offered 33 million a season and refused. Asked for more instead.
Except against the Saints...and the Patriots...and the Bills...and the Eagles. Even in some of the games that were "closer" they only looked that way because the other basically let us score later on when it didn't matter. For instance, the Bears. Dak feasted against crappy teams last year. He couldn't do anything against the better teams in the league. The only team with a winning record we beat was the Rams and they just barely fall into that category. Dak is by no means a bad quarterback, but he's on one of the more talented offenses in the league. When you are surrounded by talent it's hard to make excuses when you have several games, big games, during the year where you can't lead your offense to more than 10 points. He doesn't deserve to be paid like a top QB. He deserves to be paid like an average QB because that's what he is.I would agree with you if our defense wasn't bad and our special teams wasn't garbage. You can't lose 2/3 of the game and expect to win. Dak had control of the offense and the offense was not a problem in 2019
Are you Dak's agent too?Oh look. More "OUTRAGE!"
Let's just cut to the chase and do a 180 to call Dak a greedy bastid after using him and his "doing things the right way" as a sledgehammer to Zeke's cranium for Zeke's negotiations. Weather vane principles are the order of the day where what you espouse changes with the wind. In the end I think he'll get more than $33M anyway and then fans will hate him right alongside Zeke. Then what did "being a team player" net him in the eyes of fans? That's why I say players should ignore piker fans when it comes to business and most do.
Quoted for truth - he can't ever get that back!So this was before the season started. How much would he have to make a year to make up for the $33 million he could have already had in his pocket? Does his agent understand math or am I missing something? Had to be something other than the yearly $ amount that killed the deal. Perhaps the guaranteed amount which the article doesn't produce.
See that's where you are wrong.Oh look. More "OUTRAGE!"

I think it is funny, to say the least, that many people seem to think it will be a bargain to apply the Transistion Tag to Dak Prescott. We can get Brady or Rivers for less than $33M, this is just vintage Jerry Jones front office to offer Dak that kind of salary. Put the transition tag on him and he won't be getting anywhere close to that.
See that's where you are wrong.
Zeke's whole holdout was really poor form.
Dak is well within his rights to ask for as much as he can get. He played the system the way you are supposed to and honored his contract. While I don't think he is worth it, I don't have a problem with him trying to get as much as he can. Long term it will cost him team success but he has every right to try.
Why not you? I understand you throw a catch-able pass at least.and who's gonna play QB?
I hope he gets $40 million.
