You trolls are nothing if not persistent.I hope he gets $40 million.
The exclusive franchise tag projected out will be $33.4M 2020, $40M 2021, $57.7M 2022.
33mil doesn't tell much.
It’s hard for me to believe almost 58 million in 2 years. The gambling money must make quite the impact after the CBA. Dak only gets 1 shot at this and was drafted about 2 years to early. Imagine if the tag was 58 million for him this year when some only want to pay him 30 right now. Heads exploding. Lol.The exclusive franchise tag projected out will be $33.4M 2020, $40M 2021, $57.7M 2022.
So do you want to sign for $33M per season with a rising cap and a new collective bargaining agreement on the horizon?
Just like Zeke's agent, who I know and told you he was going to get Zeke's money, Dak's agent is doing a very good job dealing with Jerry Jones who could not build a Super Bowl team with Dak working on a rookie deal for 4 years.
There ain't gonna be no discount for this GM.
So this was before the season started. How much would he have to make a year to make up for the $33 million he could have already had in his pocket? Does his agent understand math or am I missing something? Had to be something other than the yearly $ amount that killed the deal. Perhaps the guaranteed amount which the article doesn't produce.
exactly, and really all the info should be kept in house, and it was a mistake for nfl to allow players salarys to be public.Exactly.
Was it for 7 years?
Was it for 3 years?
What was the Guarantees?
What was the incentives / milestone bonuses?
What the deal balanced, front loaded, back loaded?
ect...
Too much focus on the Average Pay and not enough on the Details IMO.
None of us have any idea what the totality of the deal was and that is kind of important in the NFL.Dak turning down 33 mil is hard to believe. I hope that greedy S O B gets franchised for 27 mil.
That is the whole thing. This is just contract parrying, nothing more.True, probably that and length of contract.
Exactly. Its more of how that contract is structured.
check those comments out. Just a bunch of delusional haters.
None of this is even news. These stories are months old. Not sure what they were going for but I guess it got them a link here
You do know that everything in this “article” was just rehashed rumors from months ago, right? In September they were close at 33M then Prescott decided he wanted more?......sounds like a greedy headcase in the making...........it may be time to tag him or find a stop gap free agent and focus on going another route in getting a franchise QB.........him flaking out like this speaks volumes.
Any extension would have been added after the last year of his existing deal. He was getting $2 million for this season either way.Quoted for truth - he can't ever get that back!
