Two quicky thoughts:

1. Mike Zimmer, you still suck.

2. The Chiefs are getting 1 sack every 62 passing attempts? Imagine it taking 2 games to get one sack. Yipes!

I laughed yesterday. He got a sack and was whooping it up and then it got turned back by an obvious offsides by Montgomery.

Ware has more or as many sacks by himself as the bottom 3 teams on the rankings

You know sometimes stats do lie and just because you get sacks doesn't mean you get a good pass rush but its not lying in this case. I thought earlier in the season it was. We were getting sacks but not getting pressure on the quarterback consistently. And the crazy thing is in the Browns and Eagles game I saw some of our guys miss sacks just by not wrapping up. Ware himself had about 4 or 5 sacks in those games together.

Hard to concentrate on football when you have a starring role in CBS's crime drama Criminal Minds.

What bothers me is the disparity between Ware and the next three guys on the team: Ware-15 Ratliff-6 Ellis/James-5.

Here's something interesting though:

Name: Sacks in 1st 6 weeks - Sacks in last 6 weeks.
B.James: 0 - 5
G.Ellis: 2 - 3
J.Ratliff: 3 - 3
D.Ware: 6 - 9

10 sacks 1st 6 games. 20 sacks last 6 games.

What's changed since after the Arizona game?

It's nice to see some production out of unit that was much maligned just a few weeks ago. I hope the intensity, aggressiveness, and dominance continues for the rest of the season.

Unfortunately, those stats also show that we have to face the 1st, 3rd, 4th and 9th best pass rushing teams in the next four weeks. Let's hope our o-line is ready.

When you have one guy who has an outside shot of breaking the all time sack record, you're probably going to have a gap between the next guy. Doesn't mean the guys behind him are struggling ... Ratliff is currently 3rd in the NFL in sacks among interior linemen (the two ahead of him play in a 4-3) and Bradie James is currently leading NFL middle/inside linebackers in sacks. The Cowboys probably have more overall balance than Pittsburgh, who have Harrison and Woodley and then nobody.

Yeah. And they are going to be all over Ben. Our OL just needs to bring its A game. And MB needs to be well enough to block. I don't see TC getting a lot snaps if Barber can go.

They are doing a great job on the sacks. I wish we were also at the top in INTs.
