Ya'll Have To Stop Falling For It Every Year

We are the undisputed laughing stock of the league. And a well deserved one.

No, they win too many games for that. I do think around the league people just shake their heads at Jerry's insistence on being the gm despite decades of no SBs and how a great franchise has fallen into mediority.

If any franchise is the laughingstock of the NFL it's the Jets, the Browns or the Lions, perennial winners of not much at all...

I never thought that the last superbowl I was going to see my team win was going to be in my teens. It's even worse for young fans who will never get to see it. Sorry guys.

It does hurt knowing that I'm likely never going to see a championship, but hey. You never know. The Bengals make it to the SB last year, so I suppose anyone can.

I'm not saying that I expect us to win any time soon. I don't know what that'd be like with this franchise, honestly. That being said, I can't give up this franchise either. At least not for a while lol, I'm too far invested. Especially with my fursuit that has a heavy Cowboys influence.

I’m shocked that most people didn’t realize this since we’ve been getting gashed by the run all year.

FA and the trade deadline came and went and there was nothing done except to throw HOFer Hankins at the problem, which is like putting a bandaid on a hemorrhage

We still have a wildly overpaid mediocre QB, no run defense, and systemic penalty issues so why would anybody expect greatness to come out of it?

Struggling to beat the Lions and entering the 4th quarter with just 1 TD should have given the 1st clue…

No reason to bail out at all. Enjoy the wins, lament the losses and know what your real priorities in life are…..because the success of the Cowboys shouldn’t even be in the top 30.

There's nothing wrong with watching them and hoping they somehow change.

The problem is with the fans that fall for it every year and if you don't fall for it with them you're "not a real fan".

I'll watch this team every week but acting like they're going to the Super Bowl because they have a decent regular season is something I will never do until they prove they can do it in the playoffs.

This organization is rotten from head to toe.

The loser culture is real in Dallas.
You are right. Every year I come here with hope and nope. Jerry is a failure at GM. Jimmy deserves 100% credit for the 90’s team that won.

Hiring Jimmy was Jerry’s only good decision ever in NFL.

I believe all we are is a tool The league uses to get ratings people love us people hate us and people love to hate us.

But most of all people watch the live in heck out of us because as mediocre as we are we are the richest franchise in the NFL and the league uses us to manipulate everything it needs to manipulate just like it did yesterday to resurrect the Packers and Aaron Rodgers slipping persona
The league needs Aaron Rodgers to bring viewers and what better tool to fix his problems than the Dallas Cowboys we were never going to be allowed to win that game The ref showed that on our last drive in overtime

They've ignored it.

They're focused more on OBJ while believeing Jonathan Hankins (HAHAHAHA) solved the run defense problems.

Dak is still the biggest problem on this team. When you can't count on your QB then you're not going anywhere. There's no way we win against 4 playoff teams in a row with Dak. No way.

I could understand the fans. But the players fall for it too lol. “ elite def” “ best team since the 90s” “ we want OBJ” dysfunctional.

Unfortunately, I do take it a bit more seriously than I should, but I'm working on it haha. It's fortunate that I have something very fun coming up in two and a half weeks as I travel to Chicago on November 30.

For sure, no way this team wins 4 in a row in the playoffs with that defense. Maybe if we had Mahomes, I could get on board with it. Dak can't elevate that offensive group to cover for a a team getting gashed by the run. We are near the bottom for run defense. That's worse than having an above average QB with an average WR core.

Almost like it's scripted anyway. They know they have fans by the throats, so they can script the matches all they want. Maybe that's what Snyder is wanting to expose. I hope he does.

Good for you Rusty!. Rooting for the Cowboys is still fun but don’t ever become one of those guys here that really lets the losses affect them negatively. I can see the younger guys being more emotional about it but I PROMISE YOU WILL OUTGROW IT!….and just take the outcomes for what they are.
