The sophomores are gonna ball out. Maliek and Jaylon are going to be the defensive version of 214. Class of 16 is going to impose its will. The sophomore season will be even better with so many other weapons around then.
Case in point... J Train Smith! Wooooooo Woooooooooooooo
I'm actually more excited than ever about our defense. We've spent so many picks on that side of the ball over the past few years. They're young, hungry, and out to prove themselves. When it's all said & done this year, that side of the ball may turn out to be just as much of a strength as the offense.I'm ready but I'm worried about our defense.
If the defense is as much of a strength as the offense then we're gonna be very tough to beat.I'm actually more excited than ever about our defense. Realistically, with Zeke back on the field where be belongs after enduring some blatant keystone copping, I see us finishing 12-4 and going very deep into the playoffs. Our defense is going to have the opportunity to gel in lower than usual pressure situations because the offense is going to be blazing trails and creating leads. By the end of the season, that defense is going to be STOUT!16-0 baby here we go!
Yes I think the defense will be much improved this season but I don't know if we'll see it in game 1.I'm actually more excited than ever about our defense. Awuzie and Lewis are #4 and #5 on the CB depth chart so that shouldn't be a big problem.Great post as usual x. They are young AND a couple rookies have been banged up. Not a recipe for early season success.
