Yawn - Bowles - Pasqualoni

i agree that we did make some changes and some of this is my frustration speaking. however, we seem to have a year-to-year plan rather than a 2-year plan and this is likely due to BP. to me, a leader surrounds himself with strong and motivated people (as BP has in the past), look at our staff now. our coaching staff is full of people who either "i dont know" or if they know, afraid to tell BP. the result is that if "coach" "dosent know" then nobody knows.
I dunno, there seems to be a lot of imput going into the offensive game plans. We don't have a clear cut offensive coordinator and Bill alows several voices to be heard in the scheming. This led to a top 5 offense this season, which was very creative.

I need to change it -that was pre -Romuff

Hey, lay off Romo. This team would not have even been in the playoffs if it was not for Romo.

Also, it was not a muff. A muff is what you do on a punt or kick catch. Romo fumbled the hold because the freaking ball had WD40 dripping from it. I could see my reflection in the ball just watching the replay.

Last but not least, could you explain to me how everything is now doom and gloom because Romo fumbled a hold doing a job that no other team in the league makes their starter do?

PS: We would have lost anyways. The Hawks had 1:19 to drive into FG range. After the kickoff thats about 30 yards, their kicker drains them from 55. Like Zimmer's D was going to get a stop, please................

yes, but perhaps there are too many voices which can be distracting and impacts the game plan. take the seattle game for instance, where was the plan to test their secondary filled with street free agents picked up that week. there is a reason other teams in the NFL dont have 4 people calling plays. to me this is another way of BP "spreading the blame" in case things dont go well.

our game plans seem to be too conservative both on offense and defense. take NO for instance, their defense is good not great, they understand that and their offense does not let up and goes for the jugular every chance it gets, this ensures that if the defense gives up a few plays late, it does not cost them the game. we seem to labor under the false impression that our defense is great and we play everything close to the vest and end up losing close games late.

Which is it? Too many voices or BP is shouting his assistants down causing them to be afraid to speak?

not sure what you mean. i am not in the room and am only going by what i see and what i've heard but too many voices and people afraid to tell you what needs to be done are both bad outcomes. this is why leadership is an elusive and difficult to define quality.
