Yeah, I

We got two of the top steals of the draft.
I think we may have landed more steals than that:. Dak, Maliek, and Brown are all starters. If you find a starter past the 2nd round that is not a kicker, punter, ls, or fb it is a steal. The jury is still out on Jaylon, Tapper, Jackson and the project TE whose name escapes me presently. But I wouldn't be surprised if they turn out to be significant contributor's within 3 years. This truly may be the best draft in thr Cowboys 7 round draft history.

Ramsey is a fine corner, but he's not the type of game changing CB worthy of a top 5 pick. He wasn't in college (3 ints in 3 years) and isn't now.

That was my argument against him at the four pick. I thought he mostly talked and hyped himself into the top ten and some media bought into his self promotion. Just didn't see a top ten pick during college and I watched a fair amount of FSU games. His highlight reel was mostly of him talking trash or celebrating a tackle and not making a game changing INT and he played the position on a good defense where he should've had more INTs.

Does anybody have the PFF rankings for the rookie CBs? I remember seeing them on here a few weeks ago.

Brown has Pro Bowl + level CB traits. Speed, quickness, can mirror, good tackler and seems to have the temperament to bounce back from a bad play. It's remarkable that as a 6th round rookie he looks this capable essentially starting from almost game 1. The coaches clearly have confidence in him as he's played a lot of man regardless of opponent. He and Claiborne next year could give us a nice duo on the outside.

IMO Brown, Prescott and Elliot make the draft a huge success. Collins appears to be a quality depth possibly good starting DT. Honestly i have no confidence in Tapper bouncing back from the back injury. Obviously I'm hoping for the best. Jaylon can make the draft a grand slam HR if he is able to return to return to the field.

What's interesting about this draft is we didn't really hit on that 1-2 undrafted FAs that we seem to do nearly every year. Possibly a sign of less open spots due to improved roster depth.

I think you're talking about Rico Gathers (project TE).

Only time will tell but this draft could end up going down as one the best in franchise history.

The Cowboys draft position afforded them the ability to get more of the players they truly coveted than in recent years where they had to settle for 3rd best and down. 2015 was hard to get through, but this draft made it totally worth it.

That's the guy. If he can pick up blocking and route running he could be a very explosive weapon in 2017. He already has excellent hands and the ability to contort his body to make acrobatic contested catches.
