My point is, as fans, we are going to eventually support whoever is coaching the team, and make some wild predicitions/assinine statements -- even though right now I feel like beating my head against the desk. I am sure you weren't thrilled about Phillips coaching the team -- but here you are, defending him. See what I am saying?

Why would you be sure about that? Do you think you can read my mind? Is it because you made fun of the hire when it happened so you assume all Cowboys hated the idea at first?

I DONT!! Give me Mariucci, give me Meeks, anyone but Fassel. And it's looking more and more that that's the case!

But I will support, and might even defend him at some point, if he is hired.

I stand corrected then. The feeling I got from a lot of Cowboys fans was he was another Jerry Jones puppet -- had the OC already in place, much of the coaching staff, etc -- like the Skins do this year -- and he was just there, know what mean? More-or-less a stand in until Garrett was ready.
