I know there are a ton of these stories but I still thought I would post it.

I'm in a meeting this week and a guy (who I doubt is a sports fan) is making a point about education. He said he was mostly homeschooled in a small town in the South and says "its a small town you have never heard of, Vicksburg, Mississippi."

Being the consummate business professional that I am, I interrupted to say "Home of Dak Prescott".

He laughed and said "Yeah, we went to Church together. He's a great guy".

I said that everything you read is that is a terrific person. The guy stopped and said "No,whatever you read in the news just scratches the surface. He is a great, great human being. His mother was too".

I have always been impressed with his leadership qualities. He is way beyond his years in that regard.

I've never read anything negative about him from a character perspective and that really is refreshing nowadays in today's NFL.

Yeah, you hear people say that its all about the play on the field. But Roger Staubach and Roethlisberger can both throw the ball and I certainly know which one I want as the face of the franchise for a decade.

I don’t doubt he’s a nice guy, and I’m sure we have a lot of great guys on our team. The question is, will he liberate us from that 22 yr drought?

To be sure, it'd be great if one guy could tend to that but unfortunately, it takes the entire team. Let's hope the next draft gets him the kind of help that it takes to morph such high expectations into a state of actual existence.

Anybody who knows about the civil war should have heard about Vicksburg.

Lol, everyone needs to stay out of that place! No offense meant to all other Pennsylvania residents, just Risen. Lol

Sometimes I click on "show ignored content" just for yuks and that was hilarious. I'm sure a 240 pound athlete QBing the premier sports franchise on Earth is concerned about a 170 pound guy mumbling in the back of a bar somewhere.
