The Colts are unquestionably the favorites of television viewers and the ratings of our Super Bowl XLI triumph over the Bears is further proof of that!

I guess he doesn't realize that the Real America's Team; The Dallas Cowboys had 14 of their 16 regular season games were nationial televised last season. That is more than all their regular season games and playoff games combine! Add to that while their Superbowl was highly rated, it wasn't quite as high as the Jan. 1996 Cowboys vs Steelers Superbowl.

People really don't understand what America's Team means. It does not mean that everybody likes us or roots for us. It means that everybody has an opinion about the Cowboys. People love them or they hate them.

I noticed then, and had noticed earlier, that wherever the Cowboys played, you saw people in the stands with Cowboys jerseys and hats and pennants. Why does everyone get aggravated by this? Being called 'Americas Team' is about the last thing I think about when I consider the reasons I like the Cowboys.

How about having a RB that could run and get yards??? Was it the defense throwing numerous INT's in their previous playoff losses or Manning??

Yes.... the defense did step up BUT the running game wasnt abandoned(Peyton knew that he had to stay with it) or he woud lose yet again.... give the D credit but dont forget to give the RB's credit too.

Put the game in Manning's hands and he will INT it away... down the drain... he showed flashes of that brilliance in SB... then handed the ball off.... smart boy, smart Dungy

I don't know about you guys, but I LOVE the fact that the Dallas Cowboys are referred to as America's Team.

I also hate/enjoy the fact that other teams consistently try to take that tag away from us.

I just find it funny that 1 Super Bowl is enough for people to think that their team is America's Team worthy, hell, I guess the Tampa Bay Buccaneers have as much claim to that title too lol

I googled (images) "America's Team" and all kinds of images with ONLY the Dallas Cowboys came up. No other NFL team. ha!

The Cowboys aren't America's Team and neither is any other team. It's some ****** bag in Minnesota. Don't you remember a few years ago that some idiot trademarked the phrase and then took the Cowboys to court so they couldn't use it? If you think that's crazy, the idiot actually won (Word is the judge was a Vikings fan still mad about the Hail Mary). I'm not sure if the ruling has been changed but I know the Cowboys couldn't use "America's Team" on any of their merchandise for a while. It may have changed since then but according to a court of law, "America's Team" is actually some loser in Minnesota who most likely lives in his parent's basement and has an online girlfriend who is "really hot." Does anyone else remember this happening a few years back? It was all over the news.

It'd be hard to wrest the moniker away from the Cowboys. We're easily the most identifiable team with the simple but elegant star logo and the great-looking blue, silver, and white uniforms, we have an illustrious history consisting of remarkable team and individual performances, and we have a deep, vast, and highly knowledgeable fanbase. Until another team surpasses us in all of those categories, we own the label "America's Team".
