Wilcox is younger and is finally starting to realize his potential. Church has his role. I wouldn't be surprised in both come back but if forced to choose I pick JJ.

JJ Wilcox. It sucks losing a leader/defensive captain in Church, but JJ really impressed me this year, it's really starting to click for him and he knows how to lay a big hit, legally.

Assuming the difference in cost is negligible I think I'd go with Wilcox. But it's close.

I feel like we'd be better off keeping Wilcox and his athleticism and hitting ability, and replace/upgrade Barry.

As has been stated, depends on the price.

Church has been playing on a fairly cheap contract for most of his career---he justifiably may want to cash in one last time before he retires. On the other hand, Wilcox may be available for a one year deal, especially if we don't sign Church.

They have about equal value to me. Both had 5 INTs in the past 4 years. Church is smarter but Wilcox is more athletic and is a big hitter.
