You can't win with 5 rookies

No team that isn’t rebuilding or have injury problems goes into the season counting on 5 rookies. Usually it’s 1-2 starters and the rest play 10-15 snaps a game.

Instead Dallas has:
Guyton
Beebe
Kneeland
Carson
Liufau

Even bigger problem is 3 of those guys are trench players and no rookies strength is ready day 1. They will likely grow into nice players but having them play crucial snaps from the jump is ridiculous.

So yes Dallas is rebuilding without saying it because they don’t want to lose your $

Kneeland and Liafau are depth guys. Tank starts and Overshown should see more snaps based off of roles.

Carson is only starting because Bland is hurt.

I don’t believe Guyton or Beebe have anything to do with the blowout yesterday. The defense looked horrible.

You definitely can win. But not when you’re out coached , out classed

This front office is run by clowns.
Bring back RB's like Zeke cause the F.O. liked him. Even though he's a dime a dozen back now.
Rico Dowdle? 5-6 years with the team, surely, this two headed cheap duo would be good enough lol.

DT spot? We good, up until August where they trade for a JAG in Phillips and sign 34 year old Joseph...

Every team uses the draft to "rebuild/strenghten" their team. this team solely uses the draft in the peak of the offseason.

Re-sign Gilmore? Nah. Oh injury? Good luck 5th rounder, you're starting come hell or high water.

Every year they think ignoring March is a good thing. and every year a weakness gets exposed that would of only had a chance to be solved in March. Cause there's only a handful of rookies that can start and not be out of place every year.

Kneeland played 44/74 snaps against Cleveland. Liufau seemed to be in a lot more than Overshown yesterday. Also Overshown for all purposes is also basically a rookie. He didn’t get to really even practice last year after the second week in August.

Just relying on that many young guys is not a good idea unless you’re the Bears.

They aren’t planning to lose on purpose. But losing is a byproduct of playing so many rookies especially in the trenches.

Thats why we have a free agency which Jerry and the boys don't use..it will get worse bc this team and coach is cooked

Overshown not being in more wasn’t smart. He is the fastest LB. You are playing a team that runs at the edges

They only do not say rebuilding because that phrase typically includes a tear down process which they didn't have. While the OL does have 2 new starters they grabbed guys they feel are long term high quality replacements instead of cheap substitutes until the find eventual starters. But these guys are rooks and will struggle as rookies tend to do.

Debunks the OP 100%.
The difference in strength and speed wasnt as big as it is now. Role players some times had to get second jobs in the offseason in the 70s. They weren’t spending every day at the facility lifting weights and working out like they do now.

Physically NFL rookies in the trenches just aren’t ready for today’s game. Skill players have an easier transition but still not perfect.

Overshown can’t play the run unless it’s an open field in front of him and all he has to do is chase and tackle. He played a lot like what he actually is…a converted safety playing LB. He’s not nearly physical enough to play in the box and take on blocks
