You don’t compound one mistake by making another

We shouldn’t have let cooper go. You don’t sign a WR that won’t play this year. The only real issue is why Jerry outed all this to the media. Nothing came out from bills or giants. Seems like a move by the team. We could have just not said anything at all they didn’t have to put the guys medical info out there.

The way they are playing, it doesn't look like letting Cooper go was a mistake.

Yep, those gossiping Cowboys negotiating in media when they was just talking to the man face to face.

Amari was a butt hurt move by Jerry, so let's just move past that because it wasn't a football move or even financial move...or they wouldn't have entertained trading for Cooks and his $18M price tag.

Eh jerry has been feeding OBJs ego and going after him hard for the last month now. If jerry is going to do a 180 and not have any interest now it only makes sense that he says why.

Two teams have dumped Amari and a 3rd will in next year or two
There is a reason

I'd be butt hurt to if the guy I'm paying 20 million a year to is constantly sitting on the sidelines on crucial drives and plays at the end of the season. If he makes bonehead decisions that keeps him from playing in important games that we end up losing. If when we need plays to be made, it's a 50/50 if he's gonna even try.

Yall wanna make it sound like Amari is so great and awesome and he's not. He was overpaid, and letting him go wasn't the wrong move. Replacing him and Cedric Wilson with Washington and Tolbert was the wrong move.

Since Dak's return the Cowboys' offense has been better than it was at it's peak with both Cooper and Wilson here.

Dallas could have gotten more for Cooper but that's another story. The OBJ talk seems to have lit a fire under the Cowboys' current receivers too.

I'm not y'all. You clearly have no idea what I'm talking about, so Ima let you hold that misconception.

The Cowboys weren't the first ones to express that concern. It was out there before OBJ visited the Cowboys, they just piled on top.

You're right about Cooper, he's on track for what he's done for most of his career 1100 yards and single digit tds. Despite his inconsistencies, he was another weapon for the offense. If they were going to let him go should have gotten more for his services, or just restructured his contract.

I don't understand what all of these threads are about. The current WR core are playing very well. The Cowboys have scored a lot of points lately. What are those wanting to sign OBJ thinking?
