Meh. People said the same thing last week before we played the G-Men.
And they were right.

I don't think there's a team in this division that's worthy of the playoffs.
I'm having a hard time thinking of more than 5 or 6 in the entire NFL
Denver, NE, NO, Seattle, KC....Car? Cinci? Dallas?
This is just an overall bad year for the NFL. The product is way down.
I agree.
Salary caps in every league are stupid. It'll never happen but I'd love to see the salary cap go away. It'd do wonders for improving the overall quality of play in the league. There's too much turnover and too many teams having to look for depth on the cheap.
The salary cap is unfair anyway. Why should teams who draft well be forced to lose players? The NFL Draft is the great equalizer. No team has an advantage. If a front office is shrewd enough to consistently find top talent in the draft they should be allowed to enjoy their dynasty. They earned it. They didn't buy it.

Why?Maybe so, but MLB needs one, those guaranteed contracts are beyond ridiculous. At least, they should stop with the guaranteed part in every league with rules in place to buy out the contract if a team wanted to get rid of a player.
Now lets take care of business on Thanksgiving.
We are at home.
The Raiders are sorry.
This is a game we win if we are contenders and not pretenders.
No excuses, "JUST WIN BABY"
In the not so distant past, the Cowboys would be coming off an emotional win, heading into a game versus a below average team; fans would be riding high and looking ahead at the playoff picture (myself included); the Cowboys would be feeling good and coach/JJ would talk of a good week of practice. Then the unthinkable happens--the game gets outta hand as soon as the first kickoff. We're outplayed, out-coached, out-hussled, and beaten. Sounds all too familiar.
This is a winnable game, but I've seen this scenario play out too many dang times for me to start proclaiming 7-5 while looking ahead at Chicago and the remaining schedule. This team has a lot to prove yet. Can they do it? You bet they can. But prove it to me first!
"Midgets" is a prejorative. I hope no little people at the Forum were offended.
I know some Eagles fans, weeks ago, were proclaiming the Cardinals game as an easy win. Not anymore.

Eh, I don't see it. I can't imagine Dallas, Arizona, Detroit, Philly, or whoever making a serious run. Could they get to the NFCC? Maybe if they get hot. But that would be a fluke more than anything. All of those teams are seriously flawed.Based on past history, one of the current 6-5 teams in the NFL will get hot and make a run. That much is a given.

I think we will beat the Raiders. It'll be close, but we should be able to pull this one out.
We will be 7-5 by Friday morning, and all the talk will be about the playoffs.
We will lose the next two games to Chicago and GB. We will be back to 7-7 with two game remaining against the Skins and Iggles.
We will beat the Skins.
Then it's all or nothing again vs. the Iggles.
Same story ...
