I would gladly trade one of our picks for a Roy Williams or Chad Johnson. You know what your getting and there is no quicker way to improve the team.

trading for Chad Johnson is right up there with trading for Joey Galloway...a very dumb idea! Trading for Roy Williams is not much better. Draft picks are too important to be throwing them around like this.

We traded 2 first for Joey, we wouldn't giving up near that much for CJ.....hopefully, but if the price is too high to get him, we won't.

Well I guess I should say were likely to see the Cowboys all over the place because I just can not see Jerry walking away from this draft with all his original picks in place.

Why not? This draft is deep at the positions we need. In fact the value is in the latter part of the first and beyond. The titans will soon come to their senses and get what they can for pacman. In my estimation we are in perfect position in this draft. No need to do anything stupid at this point.

You are going to have to explain this to me. We need another vet WR as we all saw what happened when TO got hurt. Our offense went into the tank. Spending the 28th pick on a proven WR is better than spending it on a unproven rookie. We can't depend on Glenn and Crayton is more of a #2 not a #2.

Unless all cinci wants is a fifth round pick the price is too high. Looking back on it would you have traded Joey for 1 first round? NO way!, A second round, not a chance, Third no, Fourth yeah, maybe. Chad Johnson is OLD, has CHARACTER issues, and will want a lot of MONEY, not worth wasting a draft pick on that.

IMO, Roy is too injury prone to be traded a number one for. If you are going to do that why not just draft the best receiver in the draft, I think you will get an equal trade off, plus a few more years on his contract plus a little less money. I can see why people want Roy (I fail to see why anyone would want to look at Chad Johnson) but I think in the long run, ie the next 5-7 years, it would be a mistake. I want a team that is going to be good for years, not a team that is a one shot wonder and then fades back to the middle of the pack.

I kinda disagree, back then, Joey was probably worth a 2nd rounder. I mean, 2 1st rounders were absurd, but a second would have been very reasonable. Remember, Joey is still playing at a high level, even at 36. He is a good player that was just put in a bad situation with a bad trade.

SOMETHING is going to go down in the next 10 days. Maybe it's PacMan, maybe it's Roy Williams, maybe it's Chad Johnson, maybe it's Boldin, maybe it's a trade down or a big trade up or maybe it's something we have not even discussed but I just get the feeling something BIG is going to happen. I feel bad for ya. My wife and family know better then to even think of planning something on draft day. I'm not doing anything that day but watching the draft.
