I say this for a couple of reasons...
1) We have a lot of money to spend in FA, but we let quite a few need players slip by today...

2) Sources I trust say TO is likely to happen. Not that I want it, but it appears that this is a done deal from many accounts...
I don't like TO... but I didn't like Deion either. I rooted for him to do well because he was a Cowboy, even though I didn't like him. I will do the same for TO... No player, coach or owner is bigger than this great franchise...

On the bright side, this may limit the "Q" threads we still have...

Carry on...

Let me add something here... the iggles could very well trade him for a late rounder at the last minute for a couple of reasons as well...

1) To get a little something for him...

2) To stop Dallas from getting him...

If they trade him, wouldn't the new team have to pick up his contract?? Or at least restructure it.. I dont see any team wanting to do that.. or it would be done by now.. I think they will release him tuesday and he becomes a cowboy about 30 min later.. jmo

I doubt anyone trades for him because they would be stuck with that huge bonus that is due on Wednesday. Plus, they know he is going to be free and if they do trade him, what's to stop him from throwing another tantrum and getting released like he did to the Ravens? I don't see that scenario playing out.

And why is a mod starting a TO thread? WG is making it a bannable offense! Wow a mod getting banned.

I don't see T.O. being traded because a team would have to work out a new contract with him.

T.O. will wear the Star. :starspin

Even if we get TO, he is as good as advertised, and plays his off, we wont get him the ball because Bledsoe wont have time to throw

I personally do not buy that. To say "we" let need players go is correct if you ask the fans. The Cowboy brass may not necessarily agree. No one knows what the big plan is. Today could have gone exactly the way they wanted it to. Outside of Longwell, was there really someone most fans wanted that we felt the Cowboys were interested in that signed with another team?
