You guys notice Paea in last game?

what I seemed to notice is that he got push and thus, Eli could not step up in the pocket...THAT is excellent work...make the QB have happy feet and if you can cover, it gives the outside rush time to smash the QB

Paea played well...

I like Paea, but let's not get too excited, the Giants are a bottom 10 rushing team at best. However, we are going to play a lot of poor rushing teams this year. Washington, NY Giants, GB and Denver are all poor.
Add in the Eagles they are very mediocre, we did what we could not last year against the Giants and that was dictate. After one game we look very good as we all know the injury god will come to visit us and our ability to adapt is what will separate us from our peers.

Paea is the prototypical Marinelli player. Good motor. Overachiever. He's a little small for the 1 tech but that works in a "rushman" mentality.

Makes up for lack of bulk with GREAT playing strength. Plus, going against FredBeard and Martin every day can't hurt.

Watched the replay of the game and he was very active.

Stuffed the run alot.

So glad they released Thornton..

now we might get the pass rush from the outside going as we saw against the Hints..

Observations are helpful here.

I wasn't very familiar with him.

Apparently he played for Marinelli before..that's all I know.
Drafted by Chicago when Marinelli was there in the 2nd round.

Did 49 reps on the bench at the combine.

What's it going to be then, eh?

I thought he played well. Didn't flash a bunch with me. But I definitely noticed him around the ball a good bit
He surprised me. Definitely more active than Thornton was and he did look like he knew what he was doing.

I couldn't handle the #55 though.

He was very good. His issue has been his gimpy knees. If they manage his snaps and practice time we'll be fine. His backup, the rookie we stole from Green Bay could push him for playing time. Price looked fresh and active in the fourth quarter. Again, 1-tech is not that important in Marinelli scheme. We managed to survive, albeit with no sacks, for a couple of years with who has to be the worst starting DT in team's history with Nick Freaking Hayden.

wow Denver had a loooong streak of having good runners and getting the next one in time to replace the previous one. About time, they cant run. On that note i cant remember the last time Denver had 4 or fewer losses in a season.

yea, let's hope he stays injury free all season though. no depth what so ever at the 1.

Looking for Paea and Collins to have a big game with Leary out for Denver.
That is a big loss but do not discount how inept their RT has played, if you can remember Alex Barron who played for the cowboys you can understand.
