I should have known the name, I went to Sam Houston Elementary School in Midland and there was a Bonham Elementary also, but I never knew the namesake.

I live in California now, if you read its history of independence the major battle (not making this up) was basically 200 rebels massing against a drunk Mexican landowner who said "I don't need this" and moved south.

Thats great! I teach US History here in Illinois. I visited Bonham, TX when I was 15 to say we had been there. Bonham is my mothers maiden name. Love History and Love the Cowboys!!
