You have to let the dog out - Dez Bryant

Losing puts you under the bus. Romo was awful yesterday in terms of spotting open receivers and delivering the ball. He threw 2 good passes. Dez's second TD and the Williams slant. Romo didn't buckle his chin strap till the last series and the play clock made it to 1 sec of every play all game.Totally unfocused.. Somebody needed to start this conversation about passion and pride from this football team. Thank you Dez!!

He only had time to make 1 read most of the day. He was getting a lot of pressure from the defense.

He was indeed getting a lot of pressure from the defense. The OL was getting pushed. There were also too many unblocked defenders attacking Romo. The OC has to adjust his game plan and figure out how to make them pay for that. They ran one very good screen and one that netted about 3 yards. Other than that, they just called the regular offense and hoped the Lions wouldn't blitz.

The book on Romo is that if you hit him early and often you can take him out of the game. I think this game was a textbook example of that. When he did have time to throw he usually rushed it and threw to the wrong guy. For the last few seasons I have complained that Garrett's team always starts too slow, but maybe it has been that Garrett was trying to make sure Tony was protected early, got comfortable and found a rhythm before turning him loose.

you've never played sports in your life, your opinion is worthless. keep eating those cheetos and sittting on the couch talking about class in an athletic competition lol.

I really don't have anything to say about Dez's tirade yesterday but that's a stupid comment, it's like saying you've never been in the military so you can't talk about life of military. Class is class no matter how you slice it.

Where's this book? I'd like to read it.

Funny how this thread has slipped to page three after the truth comes out about Dez.
