I agree. Romo is just not playing great ball right now. I think he may be losing it.

is this the same Romo that every talking head, former coach, players and teamates are saying he's playing the best ball of his career?

The same one. I dont need the media to corrupt what I can clearly see with my own eyes.

There is something wrong with him or he is on the decline but he is not right and hast been.

We are getting very average play from a qb that is paid to be one of the best.

Yea, Witten ran him down. To shut the child up.

Who are you calling a child? Last I checked he was a 24 year old man that can act how he wants. Sorry you don't like it. But I guess the robotic we need to get better process is works just fine for you. Finally someone shows some emotion after a loss or during a huge let down and it's he's a "child"

the only thing wrong with him today was he was going to get killed if he held the ball at all and he still had 3 TDs with no INTs.

I hate stats but damn, 66% completion 18 tds 5 INTs rating 101. Hell, maybe we should put Orton in because Romo is clearly on the decline.

Not only did Tony Romo back up Bryant in the post game press conference, but if you listen to what Dez said, he feels the same way the fans feel. This team is too busy watching the game go by, as if they're watching it on tv. There is no passion or emotion from this team, just as there isn't any from our head coach. I made a post earlier about us not having an identity, and that wasn't the case. We have one. We choke at the end of games, we shoot ourselves in the foot time and time again. We're ultra conservative on offense unless we have to be aggressive.

We play not to lose, and often that's exactly what happens.

A lot of people want to blame the defense, but honestly, the defense did well enough against a high powered offense that the offense should have been able to put them away and make them one dimensional. That never happened. We forced 4 turnovers. And beat this team for 3 quarters of football.

So is it on the offense. Not saying that either. I heard some people put it on Romo saying he was off. Well, he passed to Williams a lot, and the kid just didn't come through until he had that great touchdown. Was that enough to offset his horrible first half? At the time I would have said yes, and I might still say yes. Romo had 3 touchdowns and no interceptions. We also didn't have any fumbles.

It certainly isn't on the special teams with Dan Money Ball Bailey kicking 3 field goals, two from 53 yards. And Dwayne Harris had a magnificent game.

Ultimately I put this on Jason Garrett. I think he has this team playing below their talent, and I don't think he has any grasp on clock management.

We're not a good enough team to play conservatively, and hope that everything works out. We just aren't. Without Murray we have no running game. Without Ware we have no pass rush. I'm not sure why Romo only targeted Williams/checkdowns this game. That was disappointing to me. No Cole Beasley at all in this game... I look forward to hearing what the game film looks like on the All-22.

You play conservative football and you're asking to get beat unless you're team is perfect. We know we have a suspect pass rush, and we know that if you give the Lions the ball back with any amount of time, they're going to manage to beat us. Last drive of the game, you KNOW you have to take as much time off the clock as possible. It was great to get a field goal to go up by 6, but it obviously wasn't going to be enough. I would have kneel down the ball every down, or probably would have ran backwards/sideline to sideline just to eat up more clock. That field goal wasn't going to beat Calvin Johnson, and Garrett should have realized that. We've been down this road way too many times, and something has to give.

Only one team has beat us this year, and that's the Dallas Cowboys.
I agree with you on the last sentence, except I think San Diego beat us.

I can't believe this is even a story. Guys can't be passionate anymore?

Brady does this every week.

I thought he looked like Michael Irvin on the sidelines. Good for him. That team needed a wake-up and he gave it to them. Football is an emotional game and this team's "leaders" are usually too business-like as they go about the "process" of stacking good days.

I admire the fire Dez plays with. The media will make a story of anything these days. Lets move on to next week and run Minnesota out of our house

I agree we may need to play with more passion/emotion. but still have some house cleaning to do, gettingthe rest of Parcells and Phillips losers out of here, they are dumb stupid and often injured. Ware, Scandrick, Church, yes Church, Murray, Tanner, Dunbar, Austin, Free, Bernadeau, Garrett just about got them all out. Ware, I do not want to get rid of really,if we can get his replacement and make him situational.

Anyone, who blames Garrett, for this is a knucklehead, it is on the players.

Terrance Williams doesn't stretch outright to try to get a touchdown from like 5 yards away from the endzone, and we probably end up winning that game.

Church? What??? Young player who plays good? What? Come on guy has 3 fumble recoveries a bunch of FF solid tackler 97% of the time and you want to jettison him?

Dez absolutely did what needs to be done. I'm tired of 'the process' and all the talk about needing to bounce back. If you're not making plays, I want a guy like Dez or Lee to get in that guy's face. When you have a core of guys who can walk off the field smiling after getting spanked or beaten by divisional rivals, you have a problem on your team.I want a guy who is animated and hates losing. I can't imagine a guy like Sean Lee smiling and giving the other team dap after losing a close game. Dez and Sean are the type of guys we need to build this franchise around.

Ware was telling him to focus. Witten was yelling just as much. Sorry Dez wasn't wrong at all. They come out on back to back possessions and throw TDs the defense forces a huge change of possession that should have won the game and what did we do? Wet the bed. Sorry Dez had every right to be frustrated he's tire of the losing and losing to good teams

He wasn't even on the field on 3rd and 14. Why?

And I'm not convinced Detroit is a good team. They look pretty mediocre to me. We have a tendency to make teams look better than what they are. Time will tell about both teams.
