1. Parcells has not lived up to the billing yet, but Parcells presence has been reflected in the win column. 10-6, 6-10, and 9-7 is better than 5-10, 5-10,
and 5-10.
-Playoffs-
2. First of all who did Dallas pass on that has made you regret drafting Julius? What have Steven Jackson, Chris Perry, Kevin Jones, and Tatum Bell accomplished that is so great? Has anyone of those RBs done anything so great that a single one of them would be better than JJ and Marcus Spears?
- Steven Jackson-
3. A little too early for that I would say. No matter how bad the TO situation gets I seriously doubt it will ever live up to the J Jones and J Johnson split up for bad moves the franchise has made.
-He's been a disaster so far - undeniable
4. What do you mean a waste and why? He is not a great player, but he is more than steady. A waste would have been to let him go and get nothing in return for him.
5. He may in some peoples eyes not have lived up to expectations but he is a very good player no matter which way you slice it.
- thank you - you're right he is NOT a GREAT player - he is good at hitting-
6. I would have agreed with that statement up until JJ went out hired BP. What else can he do? He pays for FAs and he hired a top notch coach. That is his job and he is doing so.
-Nobody wanted the job - and Bill cashed in
7. Shooo...maybe we should let the season play out before you make such a statement. If he misses a bunch of game on the line field goals then I will agree, but until then I think I might watch to see what happens first.
- Parcells is already agitated with him and he's not a great teammate
8. Again, jumping the gun a little bit perhaps.
9. I never did like the Rivera signing. However, considering that Dallas is in great shape cap wise I will say big deal. Plus, who knows maybe he will perform better this year.
- Brutal Move-
10. There is a pattern developing here. Maybe you should let the guys actually play in a real NFL game before you make that determination.
11. Not the biggest Bledsoe fan in the world, but the Bledsoe "headache" as you say is better than the insert scrub name QB "lobotomy".
So basically in my opinion FWIW, you have a couple of half legitimate concerns followed by a treasure trove of manure.
:laugh1: :laugh1: you mean when McNabb gift wrapped him an inexplicable INT!!!Byrdman1531 said:Where did I lie about RW???
You said Roy hasnt taken over a game.
See:
Last year in Philly when he "singlehandedly won the game"
Last year against the Giants when he forced the fumble on Brandon Jacobs and recovered it on the 1 late in the game.
Two years ago when he made the game saving tackle against the Skins as time expired
stiletto said:I agree with pretty much everything you said. Parcells hasnt done a "Hall of Fame" job with the Cowboys and Jerry hasn't done much right since ohhh 1993....sad fact but true.
What is a "size 14 RedNeck"? :laugh2:X-Dawg said:I wear a size 14 RedNeck...
You know when ya step on em' - ya know what's I mean "Rickey Bobby"big dog cowboy said:What is a "size 14 RedNeck"? :laugh2:
X-Dawg said:- Drafting Roy Williams - a guy we all wish was better than he is - who has yet to take games over like he did at the "O" - a guy who is basically a ONE dimensional Football player - was a terrible move and was taken way too high.
X-Dawg said:- Jerry Jones since his last SB win is one of Pro Sports worst owners...his teams have stunk - the playoffs have evaporated and he had to pay thru the nose to get a REAL coach like BP in here....b/c he scared people off with Gailey & Campo - nobody wanted he job.
I like "most " redneckscowboyeric8 said:Don't be dissing rednecks, they are probably 50% of cowboy fans, and there is nothing wrong with rednecks
JJ basically had another subpar cast to choose from so he tracked down BP and paid the man the highest salary ever....Nobody BIG wanted this job - can ya blame em'? You got Dave Campo in a wet suit - swimming with Dolphins while HBO films Jerry Jones cutting every player he can ....gbrittain said:Can you back up the statement I put in bold letters? I am very curious if you actually base that on something factual or if it just serves to prop up your claim?
