One that I remember from last time was "You know you're a Cowboys fan when you both love and hate Willie Nelson depending on whether he's singing "My Heroes Have Always Been Cowboys" or "Mamas Don't Let Your Babies Grow UP To Be Cowboys".

You're confusing logic of implication.

If A implies B then it is also true that "not B" implies "not A". However, it is not necessarily true that "not A" implies "not B".
