You saw Newman's weakness tonight

If it is a serious weakness of his game then explain to all of us why Newman gave up 0 touchdowns last season? And if ANY corner is expecting that inside help they are playing the outside more.

Ah yes...the old crutch we used last season...Oh wait...Roy Williams was the help - nah that was Aaron Glenn's fault..

He was exposed on that route in every game last season, give or take 16.

same as Deion's "The Hard Slant " he doesn't play that route tough enough and make no mistake - he was scorched on that TD...exposed if you will. Keep an eye on that.

I used to think that maybe you were not a troll. Maybe you just had controversial opinions. Now I see you are both a troll and a moron. Stop crying out for attention...just end it already. You know what I mean.

He got beat on that play...not exposed.

You make it sound like a weakness in his game...not!

Vanderjagt misses two FG's from 32, 33 yards out.

Is he exposed too?

Yes ! in fact he was exposed in Indy! he stinks in the crunch!!

T-New's weakness like all finesse CB's is the slant.

Can someome please name a "top shelf" CB that has not been beaten?????

He is still the best CB in the NFC East. And name me one cornerback that has not been beaten. Just one.

NO? really? EVERY OC in the league gets this film that we play this season - he's been beaten Slant before - but you get inside that Cowboys 15 and I'm running Hard Slant on T-New and next time I'm faking slant going to the cone.

this isnt madden...players will not always judge based on the last play

Drop Roy down and see how often they call that slant!

Like any team you coached or played for would ever get into the red zone... :D

I remember plenty of games when Deion was in his prime when he would get scorched but receivers, given most of the time Sanders was in man but if you are in a Cover 2 scenario and you don't get the safety help when you pass him off thru the zone not much you can do because if T-New had followed him and a guy caught the TD in the area he just left I think T-New would have been skewered by BP. In football you rely on your teammates and you play as unit you cannot be all over the field trying to cover for someone elses blown assignments especially if your AREA gets exploited after you leave.

So I will offer a piece of advice either watch the game and make moronic comments like you never played before, or watch the game as an analyst try and see that there is more to the game then what you can see on the screen. Football like any other sport, 80% of all TD's are scored on mistakes whether it be a blown assignment, suckered by play action, or just a bad read. Whether you believe it or not the talent level is pretty equal, with that being said no is perfect and that is why mistakes are made.
