You should hear the Deadskins fans

Noone on that station assumes we are going to run the table. In fact, this morning they were all talking about how Gibbs almost never sweeps Parcells. Don't make stuff up.

They are, and we all are up here, excited about the fact that we are actually playing a game against you guys that MEANS something for once. After years of futility that alone is a thrill. But I listen to that station all the time, and noone is calling the next three games a gimme.
Kornheiser just spent 15 minutes talking about how the Skins will win the rest of their games and make the playoffs, and how he's been predicting it for two weeks now.

Yeah, but the comedic value of their posts is unrivaled. I can't wait to read their board after we kick their *****.

so true, we are so sick of kicking skins butt for nothing. I love the NFC East this season.

We've got about 8 skins thread in this forum alone, including yours. I'd say the obsession isn't mutually exclusive..

Does anyone else see the irony in starting a thread complaining about Commanders fans starting threads about Cowboys football and fans?

Ah, so you're listening to Tony Kornheiser. That explains it. :)

I guarantee you he's joking.

point well taken. But their obsession is undeniable.

I don't feel like WA has played well all season, and they
are now playing worse than earlier in the season.
Depending on which Dallas team shows up, it is either
a blowout or a 3 to 7 point win for Dallas.
The brief reprieve from angry fans is withdrawn after this
Sunday as disillusoned and mad fans turn their venom on
the team and Danny boy.

Those silly Commander fans. Take a trip over to Extremeskins and count the Cowboy threads. I mean, they cant even enjoy a win for a day....already started bashing the boys. We are all thinking about this weeks matchup with Wash, but those guys are obsessed. And there obsession with Refs giving calls to us and everyone else who plays the Skins is ridiculous.

What's wrong with that? We've been itching for a meaningful Dallas game for years. Isn't anyone here excited the rivalry actually means something again? Cowboys/Commanders in December with a playoff spot on the line? What could be better than that?

Honestly, if you don't think fans should care about a game like this why do you bother to watch football?

We didn't do it with Kevin Smith or Deon, so I'm sure we won't do it with Newman either, but if we ran him all over the field with Moss 1-1, this game would be a walkover, imo.

I think Barber should start and get most of the snaps due to the makeup of the Commanders defense...they aren't going to get any pressure on us with their front 4...our OTs will finally get a break from that perspective, but they love to blitz LBs and DBs, so we're going to need Barber making the correct reads and blitz pickups bigtime.

I don't think the Skins can score more than 17 points against us, so we should win this game, not in a route, but with relative ease compared to our previous games.

Long time no see...hope everything is going well for you and yours...meaning family not Skins. :D

Thanks Brain, things are going well. I've haven't been around much anywhere lately, but how could I stay away this week? :)

I agree I heard the same thing they looked up Parcells vs Gibbs and Gibbs as only sweep a Parcells team twice and once was the strike season, so they are very concerned about this game Sun.

Easy there bud. I care alot. More so than you would ever know. But for cryin out loud its Monday morning! Enjoy the win for a coupe of hours at least. And I love the new NFC east, but I'm not talking any smack after my team barely beats the Cards either.

I just hope Dallas Stays in attack mode from here on out. No more consverative playcalling crap. Lets go out and attack the Commanders, we know we can move the ball we have the plays to be able to do it.

Bill opened the playbook yesterday and look where it got us. 31 points. It's time to quit baby sitting the offensive line and start taking some chances.

I guarantee you he's just sucking up to the local fans and trying to get attention to himself. He may not actually believe it... but he wasn't overtly "joking."

Also, Andy Pollin sounded like he was drinking the "run the table" kool-aid as well.

Fortunately, this will all be over next week once we beat you down and put this all to rest. ;)

The scary part is that Roy Williams WILL have his radar scope on Moss all day. We may see some pretty bad personal fouls called whenever Moss tries to go deep.

Of course you are. Your team eked out a home win to avoid losing three straight and here you are talking smack about the Commanders on Monday morning. I sure as heck didn't start this thread. :)
