getting your panties in a bunch because a fellow fan said "we" is ridiculous, do you get how awesome it is to share something with so many people in the world? The dallas cowboys make us all family, he says "we" and its a compliment not an insult. You saw "we" and got some complex about him speaking for you, he was relating to you as a fellow fan.

yet again, take a step back.

You're talking about Romo retiring already? Man, don't you at least give yourself the joy of enjoying the next 6 to 10 years? How about the next 5?

Yeah, the franchise and the fan base is spoiled. But football is about now and not next year, let alone five years. By the time Romo retires, we'll also lose Ware, Newman, Barber, etc should we be sweating their retirement too?

Cowboy Fans are spoiled the Linage of QB's and RB for this Franchise is great

Come one we had Don Merdith; Roger Staubach; Troy Aikman that is pretty sweet. Heck even Danny White was a solid above average QB he at least got us to the playoffs for many years.

RB the two Biggest names of course are Emmit Smith and Tony Dorsett

That is even getting into the Defensive line my goodness Bob Lilly and Randy White is just a start

Ah...no Xmas presents this year from you? :)

(btw, I have been a poster for at least the last 5 years. Just using a different Id to replace the previous lost one. Save your hollow greetings for those who actually want it.)

Just wait until Romo retires.

Our fan base is freakishly spoiled. I cant believe how spoiled we are.

Someone the other day called Romo the human gadget play. He really is.

Most Quarterbacks in the league are done when its 3rd and 15. Heck we got a chance of getting it almost every time. Its like im never worried.

We are spoiled and Romo is spoiling us even worse.

We are going to expect crazy things from now on and I hope we find another guy again.

Im so pumped about Tony Romo and proud of him as a fan. Hes a cool guy and deserves all this.

Go Tony.... Go Cowboys!

Give Jessica Simpson a good slap on the bum for me Tony!

realisitically, i don't want to think about Romo retiring. I'm enjoying now now!

lets rack up another three superbowl wins and I can stand a dry spell for one or two years. ;)

Stop worrying about the future and enjoy the next 10 years while you can - it will be over far too soon anyway, without your help.
If Romo is like his boyhood idol, he'll be playing QB 15 years from now.

Hopefully for Cowboys fans, the worst thing you'll have to hear about Romo is retirement rumors 15 years from now.

You're right, enjoy the ride and hope it keeps going. I'm happy #4 is still around. Be happy you have the best young QB in the game.

with Romo now the real deal, no other franchise since 1960 has had the overall quality the Cowboys have had. Eddie Lebaron, Don Meredith, Craig Morton, Roger, Danny, Troy, Tony. The biggest gap we have had was the last one of 2001 to 2006. Then the gap from 85-89. Other then that, from 1960 to 2007 we have had either a very good QB or a Pro Bowl/HOF QB just about every year in those 47.
You're forgetting about the Chicago Bears with their great line of QB's like Virgil Carter, Kent Nix, Bobby Douglass, Gary Huff, Bob Avellini, Mike Phipps, Steve Fuller, Mike Tomczak, Jim McMahon, Jim Harbaugh, Erik Kramer, Steve Walsh, Moses Moreno, Steve Stenstrom, Peter Tom Willis, Will Furer, Rick Mirer, Cade McNown, Shane Matthews, Jim Miller, Kordell Stewart, Craig Krenzel, Rex Grossman, Brian Griese, and Kyle Orton.

Now there's a list of HOF QB's.:D

Not really...when Romo stops playing to the impossible level he set, many fans will be more than happy to look for the next "one" and throw Romo under the bus. When Aikman was close to the end of his career, it was sad to read all the negative comments by Cowboys fans who blamed Aikman for all that ailed the team back then. I guess we're just spoiled because of the level of QB play this franchise has seen.

McMahon was very good when healthy- which was not often. Harbaugh was ok, sometimes better then that. Otherwise that truly is a list of losers the likes of which I doubt any other franchise even comes close.

Romo is 27. He has a 7 year contract which will end when he's 34. How much he can play beyond that is unknown. But we should have a young QB or two ready in the wings by the time Romo's 32.

But then again, you really think I'm worried about 7 years down the line? I'm enjoying the ride right now.

Actually, I wanted Troy to go at the end. He was very washed up from injuries. I'm just enjoying the ride now. Who knows where it goes.
