We are never going far in the playoffs with Jerry setting the tone/culture of this franchise.

1) the QB is a great dude, and a good QB. But he will never win big in Dallas. He/we should move on from each other.

2) There is little hope for anything better in the future of this franchise. All we have are memories & a massive brethren of fans to lean on.

3) The football first mentality is completely evaporated in place of "what being a Dallas Cowboy can mean financially to anyone on the roster". Moths to a flame of fame.

4) I decided after last year's debacle in SF to no longer hope or lose sleep worrying about a team that clearly doesn't take itself seriously as a team of it's grandiose history should.

Cowboys have been coasting on phenomenal drafting an no outside talent via FA (yes I know we got Cooks and Gilly) and it finally caught up to them

First, we need to continue focusing on both the OL and the DL in the draft and FA.

Second, we need a big, go to RB

Third, we need other WR targets. This doesn't mean more or different WR. It does mean mean we need to target others besides Lamb and Ferguson. Heaven knows, Lamb had a remarkable season, but teams will eventually figure out how to guard him... and what happens if he is injured?

We need a true MLB

Biggest takeaway is it's up to the Jones' to decide what they want for the Cowboys. If being pretty good and qualifying for the playoffs is all they want, mission accomplished. If winning a SB is truly the goal.....then this team ain't it. They've reached their ceiling and not one step further. Players and coaches need to be replaced. Of course, I would love to replace the GM
