The reality of being stuck with the same GM, HC and QB trumps any other player personnel or assistant coach deficiency the team has.

More of the same to continue for many more years to come.

The comments confirmed that it truly is a country club. We're the softest team in the league.

My biggest takeaway is that nothing will ever change as long as Jerry is still in charge . It is the same take away I’ve had for about 10 years now.

I have 2.

1) Dak just doesn’t have “it” … too mentally weak.
2) Jerry’s ego tricks him into thinking the roster is flawless

What say ye?
I go further and say the team doesn't have "it". Not just Dak. If you think Dak is the only issue we have you are missing the forest because of the trees.

Couple of players had victory party's planned.

Why? Why celebrate a playoff win. It's superbowl or bust and these players live in a country club mind set.....

The realization that this will never change until the Jones Boys go away.

Same $#!#, different year.

I learned that I lost hope to see another Cowboy SB win in my life.

I'm so glad I lived through the Troy, Emmitt and Michael years, because that is the team that I'll take in my heart forever.

These are not my Cowboys, these are something else I don't care about anymore.

Owner and general manager Jerry Jones also popped in to meet with the team and express his urgency about the team's desire to win.

Owner and general manager Jerry Jones also popped in to meet with the team and express his urgency about the team's desire to win.

"His message was we gotta win," Lewis said. "It's the Dallas Cowboys. We had everything to win. We can't let this feeling keep going on, so it makes sense. I just feel like he wants to win right now. The urgency is now. It was always that on our shoulders. He made it clear that that was the point."

Jerry is delusional.

Hopefully more are convinced of something many knew years ago and that’s the fact that we need a viable Quarterback that can make us competitive in the playoffs. It’s time we get serious about the position and get someone in here that has the talent to play the position. It begins and ends with that position. Using whatever resources necessary should be on the table.

Ferguson is a damn good tight end.

This defense had everybody fooled. I don’t care what the season showed statistically, it’s not a unit you can win in the playoffs with. They are opportunistic but that’s about it. The run defense is bad.

Interested to see how Aubrey comes out next year but it seems like we’ve struck gold at the kicker spot.

Too many Special Teams miscues this year. Fake punt City.

McCarthy is another Wade Phillips. No, not in coaching philosophy. Both are overweight, yes men.

Jerry Jones controls this team and we are doomed. That’s more of a reminder than a takeaway though.

We are awesome at beating up on bottom feeders, and getting our stats.... but we are incapable of winning a big game when it matters most. Blame whomever, Dak, coaching, defense, etc.... but it all funnels back to one person.

Johnny Walker.

We are the best of the worst, nothing more nothing less. This is not on the quarterback. This is on the entire team. All it does is give the heaters something to say I told you so about. And if they’re happy with that good for them , they couldn’t wait for us to lose

My biggest take away's:
1) League is a business. Controlling the business is very important to the shareholders.
2) JJ is a businessman. Money and value mean more than winning.
3) League has sold out to gambling. The commercials should tell you everything you need to know about the business.
4) Coaches were out schemed -- great motivational coaching skills, but not the brightest it seems. Need younger smarter coaches to meld in with the motivational ones. (One Motivator/Disciplinarian HC -- the rest the smartest/best trainers/most tactical).
5) Players are coddled and still get paid - regardless of the outcomes. No dawg mentality. No heart.
