Lets say the NFL gave you a new franchise as they are expanding the league to 40 teams, adding a new division in each conference.

You pick the city to put it in. You pick your GM, coaches, scouts, etc. You pick your logo, colors, everything.

You receive 2 untradeable mid-round picks in each round of next years draft, and the opportunity to sign any current free agents. You cannot sign any players currently on an NFL team, but may make offers to CFL and AFL players.

What would you do? Have fun with this, put some thought into it. Try to be somewhat realistic.

I'll be posting mine a little later this evening when I have some time to kill after work.

May give it a try if I find some time.

Some questions:
So no taking any top 10 2014 draft picks then?

How can everyone tell what round everyone will go in?

Do you have a list to go by?

This is like homework.

I bring in the Tuna, hand him a cup of ice and get the heck out of the way.

What about UDFA trying out for teams right now without a contract?

Like Robbie Rouse RB was invited to Rookie minicamp to tryout but signed a contract with the Browns.

I've always wondered if the Browns actually have a helmet logo and nobody's ever earned it yet.

Why would anyone want to start out with a dream team and have Tebow for QB?

Is that just to be so bad you get the #1 draft pick the next year?

Sadly he'll win you more games then the other players available and yeah playing for Clowney in 2014 doesn't hurt either.

Have to look at players later. After I consulate with my new GM and coaching staff, get there full input....because that's what good owners do.

so 8 new cities huh? You know if Goodell has his way, London will get a team, maybe even Mexico City.....but I dont want him to have his way.

to be honest, I cannot even really think of 8 cities in the US where we could add a football team

San Antonio
Oklahoma City
Portland
Los Angeles
Anaheim
Lincoln, Nebraska
Orlando
Salt Lake City

I would say there's no way Oklahoma City, Lincoln, Orlando or Salt Lake City could bring in an NFL team. LA, San Antonio, Anaheim and Portland would probably be most likely, in that order.
