Mine has always been Scrabble. I will play anyone. Love the game, win or lose.

What is yours?

Another vote for Risk.

We played a lot of different military-type board games when I was a teenager such as Diplomacy and Battle Cry.

Back in the day I loved Trivial Pursuit. That was followed by Pictionary, but I know know if you could consider that a board game.

Axis and allies was a good one too

Scrabble, because I used to read so much more than anyone else that I could always stomp them with a word. I'm a beast on it.

I'm a fan of chess, tho. I don't have too many friends who play and so I haven't played in years. But I learned how to play at 6 and loved it ever since.

Backgammon falls in with chess. Don't know too many who play, but I love it.

Trivial Pursuit.

When I was a kid, it was Stratego. I don't remember ever losing a game.

I can't get Scrabble. I test at a very high vocabulary level, but when those jumble of letters are in front of me my mind goes blank. I can't seem to make more than a 3 letter word. My mom was a master at Scrabble. It was the only game she could beat me at.

I was somewhat of a nerd so I spent alot of time on word find puzzles in my spare time.

The game I actually suck at the most is pictuary or something like that. I can't draw to save my life. And my teammates could never figure out where my mind was going. lol

Balderdash...great game and generates a TON of inside jokes.

Our favorite inside joke is the "private" definition of Zugswang.

Here's a picture my husband made of his now-famous with our group of friend's definition of Zugswang
