Me too! When i was 6!

Mine are Monopoly and Sorry

You mean...........I should pick another one?????

Once someone taught us Speed Scrabble we can't go back to regular.

Anyone into Settlers of Catan?

Risk is very, very good but has such a low ceiling of strategy that it leaves you wanting there.

Scrabble, because I used to read so much more than anyone else that I could always stomp them with a word. I'm a beast on it.
How have we not played on FB?

I don't play games on FB. I keep saying I should start playing scrabble or words with friends, but I know it'll become a time suck and I just don't have it.

Axis and allies was a good one too

Back in the mid 80s. My family used to play Axis and Allies at least once a week. I almost bought the game again, but it looks so much different and today I don't think I could get anyone to play it with me. Not to mention the hours it took to complete a game.

That said, easily my favorite board game of all time is Chess.

When done on a table top — like board games are usually played — that's most often considered drunken barroom dancing. Tellin' on yourself, JB. But then, you always were a good-time partyin' dude.

Wasting Away in Margaritaville, indeed. :toast:

Right now i guess it is Scrabble but growing up it was Checkers. I haven't played in a very long time.

Trivial Pursuit.

When I was a kid, it was Stratego. I don't remember ever losing a game.

These are the exact two I would put on the list.
