Turkey , Pie and the Cowboys. Whats not too like ?

Inlaws?

:D

Thanksgiving Day ;)

:starspin

Eat a big meal and veg out in front of the TV with my Brothers and watch the Cowboys. Even in those horrible jerseys they insist on putting them in for Thanksgiving...it is still the Cowboys and reminiscent of some of the best days of my life.

:clap2:

I guess that would be an Other :)

For me I have a couple....

Firstly....has to be THANKSGIVING....Awesome food and football...great combo...

Secondly...has to be getting my FF league started. We have the best format the almost mirrors the NFL (Straight draft/salary cap/contracts). It also signals that football is right around the corner.

Thanksgiving. Dallas is on. Food is great. Phone doesn't ring. My favorite day of the year, not just the season.

Beat me to it Hos, not a better day in the year !

Before NFL Sunday Ticket...the first televised Cowboy game of the regular season that I was able to get was always my favorite, followed by Turkey Day...Now it's opening day of the regular season and Turkey Day.

Opening day. I'm a nervous wreck up until kickoff.......but in a good way.

Monday Night Football at Texas Stadium in the thick of the playoff hunt is awesome.

Hell, it's all awesome (except the tease that is preseason)!

Yeah...but don't you find that Monday night games screw up the cosmic balance of your Sundays?

I'm like the proverbial fish out of water on Sundays when we are on Monday night football.

There was a time when I would have said Opening Day without hesitation.
But I have to admit that Draft Day has really become one of my most anticipated days/events of the whole year. (if not THE most)
And I love Fantasy Draft Day, too.

I guess I'll say Draft Day with Opening Day a close second. I've always been the type to love the anticipation of something more than the event itself.

agreed

I'm biased since I usually went to training camp every year when it was held in Texas, but for me its the first day of training camp.

You can finally move on to a new season with new information, and finally bury those horses carcasses you've been hammering away on for the last 6 months.

Opening day probably ranks behind draft day for me. By opening day, I've already gotten my fix with 4 preseason games to sedate me. Sure, its not pure, uncut Shanghai Snow... but at least 4 doses of clinicaly administered methadone.

Well put juke.
I spend Sundays with a big group of football fans (friends) and 3 televisions in one room (Sunday Ticket) with everyone getting a chance to watch their team play.
When we play on Monday, Sundays for me are kinda like being at a party where everyone else has a girl on their arm except me. So I have to sit and stare at everyone else's girl.
