Your favorite day of the football year is?

Well put juke.
I spend Sundays with a big group of football fans (friends) and 3 televisions in one room (Sunday Ticket) with everyone getting a chance to watch their team play.
When we play on Monday, Sundays for me are kinda like being at a party where everyone else has a girl on their arm except me. So I have to sit and stare at everyone else's girl.

you've just described Winicki's life from birth until marriage. :)

But yeah, I do hate Monday night games for the reasons you state.

Wow...guess I'm alone here. But Super Bowl sunday is my holy day. Two best teams play each other to show who is the best.

I'm a football fan before Cowboy fan, so this game is what it all comes down to.

LMAO! Great points you and juke make about playing monday night. Yeah its nice to have espn talk about the game for 90 minutes before it starts and its the only game in town. But..it sure does make for a long sunday where all you can do is root against the NFC east teams. You wait so long for sunday then hafta wait one more day to see the boys.

Put me down for T-giving. It is for sure the only day that I know the 'Boys will play. I don't have to worry about getting home on time to watch the game. (Like on MNF) or if they will be on Tv ( Here in AZ). Like Hos Said... Good food, Game, No interuptions, Family, It's ALL Good! Especially when the 'Boys win! :D

Opening day after a long off season. Draft day is right up there. And as someone else said previously is the SB, if the Cowboys are in it.

But DEAD BIRD DAY (Thanksgiving) has always been my favorite.

Opening day is probably my most anticipated. It's the first time you really see everything from the whole offseason come together. You get to see all the new wrinkles and new players, it's just an exciting time. Until that day you have no clue if the team is going to be any good and everything is hypothetical. You just sit and wait to see what will happen, and then, the first time Roy lays someone out, you know the football season has started. :)

Thanksgiving. Dallas is on. Food is great. Phone doesn't ring. My favorite day of the year, not just the season.
Yup, you beat me to the punch. Thanksgiving is not only my favorite football day, it's my favorite day of the year. What's better than Cowboys football, fall weather, family and friends (but not during the game!), and the best food I get all year.

I take the entire week off from work every year. I'm already looking forward to this year .. !

draft day.

opening day is sweet but the draft is just so much sweeter.

For me it's probably opening day. That, and any game I actually get to go to. This year it'll be the Monday nighter against the skins, and the december game vs. the Chiefs. Not sure which I'm looking forward to more. Have to win that Chiefs game though or I'm going to hear it from my family, friends, and everyone at work.

Opening Day,Start of Playoffs,Super Bowl Sunday

I really can't decide on just one lol. Even if it's not the Cowboys in the playoffs or Super Bowl. I Love watching football, can't get enough of it.

My favorite day is everyday a game is actually on... high school, collge, pro... it doesn't matter... I love my Cowboys, but I love football more... I don't care if it's Seatle - San Fran... if it's on, I'll watch it...

I can recall the exact moment I'm most fond of. When our kicker raises his hand for the opening kickoff at Texas Stadium.

My favorite day of the year is any day the Eagles walk of the field losers. Makes it all the more sweeter to see the fall again and again at the end. Its ok Eagles, we are on the way back. We'll show you guys how to win the big games.

I love opening day, but for me, I guess my favorite would have to be draft day.

You've had a good bit of the off season to stew and you've chewed on all the draft information for a couple of months... then, you finally get to see who you will be rooting for for the next decade or so.
