from your playing days, or what you just root for watching pro/college football?

mine, WR, my favorite Cowboy of all-time is Michael Irvin, because of the position he played and the impact he had there, all flash and much substance, that's what hooked me, all the flamboyancy, the 50-60 yard TD grabs, I love it

any others?

I was going to make some sort of sexual comment but decided it was too obvious.

I would say MLB. I played a lot of positions over the years but I think I liked MLB the best. You get to be involved in a lot of the action and there have been some awesome players at the position.

QB would be my next choice for the same reasons but I like to hit more than I like getting hit, that's why I picked MLB as my first choice.

I would say LB also, I played inside LB in a 5-2 defense, but played MLB in our goaline defense....That was my favorite because from the MLB spot you were always involved vs. RILB.

On O I plat RT and RG, but again my favorite was that I was the FB in Goaline in offense.

I guess that would make me a Hoyte fan here...lol.

In High School I played RB and LB. I knew I wasn't anywhere near good enough to play either in college, so I switched to FB. If I had been good enough to play either I would have loved to play LB. In my heart I always wanted to be a QB, and when when we played pickup games I had to be QB for both teams because no one liked to guard me or have me guard them. I was good at reads and accurate, but I never would have had a shot at QB.

I still enjoy a traditional FB role. I love seeing a FB put a punishing hit on a would be tackler and watching the hole open up. Moose was a joy to watch because of that. Lorenzo Neal of San Diego is too. I enjoyed watching Hoyte blast people last year. I wish he was more of a weapon. That is why I like Deon Anderson. Well, that and the story about him acting like a crazed chicken on the kickoff squad.

For me, it's OLB. I played OLB im pee-wee football and by the time I had reached High School, I played safety. Still, ever since the pee-wee days, I've focused the LB's.

Being a big OLB fan... I was happy when we switched to the 3-4 because of the emphasis put on the OLB's in that scheme.
