Corner. I think they're the best athletes on the field. And at the NFL level, some of the best athletes in the world.

Trying to blanketing a WR in space is a real personal challenge, and that makes it fun.

Like Thumper said, MLB has to be great, too. You're in on all the action almost no matter what.

I'm meh on pretty much all positions on offense, except for tailback. I like watching the old-school workhorse tailback who could control a game almost by himself. But those are increasingly rare in today's game.

Least favorite is WR. Way too many whiny primadonnas and divas at that position.

I agree. WR is my least favorite position (other than kickers & punters but they don't count anyway). They seem to believe that since they make the big play that they are all that, but they forget that it required all 10 other guys to make that play happen, not just them running down field and the ball magically appearing in their hands.

CB also tends to have a lot of egos.

Mine is WR. Loved Drew Pearson/Michael Irving/Butch Johnson/Tony Hill/, played WR all my life through-out junior high, high school, semi-pro, flag football.

thats what make certain guys so great. The fact that they think they are unbeatable...

Whether you like Chad Johnson or not you have to admit when he publicly says he will beat a cb for 100+ and then does it. It's impressive. To play wr and CB you almost HAVE to have that swagger.

It is conceited, and I can see why people don't love them but thats the mindset of EVERY great wr and CB now a days

Lets see, these are the positions I played.

  • Peewee League: Offensive tackle and defensive end.
  • Junior High: Flanker
  • High School: Flanker on offense & DB on passing downs (nickle & dime)
  • After high school I played QB for our non-pad tackle league (mostly friends)

After everyone took as much punishment as we could handle, most of my close friends would stop playing football and switch to home run derby.

My favorite position to watch in football really depends on the players involved. Linebacker if I'm watching players like Ware, QB if I'm watching Joe Montana or Roger Staubach, Safety if I'm watching Ronnie Lott, Left tackle if I'm watching Erik Williams man-handle Reggie White.

I just love the game and really enjoy watching dominating players dominate.

Funny you say this cause even though I've always played WR, the few times i lined up at CB, I was actually pretty dominant. Wish I had played that position in my day.

TE - you get to mix it up in the trench, but also get the glory of a TD here and there. Best of both worlds.

OT is pretty interesting too - mammoth athletes.

I did play some limitted "monster back" my Sophmore year in HS. It was like a roaming LB/DB position that was a lot of fun.

I played Offensive tackle. I guess thats what happens when your 6'5 300.

I went on a diet and now weigh 235. Sexy too I might add.

I loved playing Defensive tackle but our school had enough talent that we didnt need people starting both ways.

My favorite position though to watch is runningback. You can probalby attribute that to guys like Emmitt Smith though.
