Put Dallas at 20 and forget about them. Who was number 1 in the power rankings last year after week 1 (no looking it up)?

Who cares. These rankings mean nothing. All that matters is the Cowboys win whether it is 21-20 or 40-0. Just win. I hope the rankers get us wrong every week right up until we win the Super Bowl! But let's not get ahead of ourselves. One week at a time.

i got to tell you my feelings just like college and Pro rankings so early, lets hold off until game 8, rankings are who cares how they rank your team?? all that matter is we are 1-0 but half the league is 1-0 .. so that's all it means it doesn't me.... of fact i want them to disrespect us

Some of you be trippin.. Cows beat a playoff team in their house 40 to zip.. They should and will be #1.

Even if the Jets win tonight, I can’t see putting them ahead of the Cowboys after one game.

I agree. Let week #2 dictate that later, but for now DAL was the most dominant team. To put KC above DAL would be garbage.

They won't ding teams that bad in Week 1. Philly likely will be #1 or #2 still. KC could slide. 49ers likely will still be ahead of us. I'd say we are in the Top 5 of most power polls, maybe Top 3.

Not that they matter all that much.

Yes, Giants went 9-7-1 last year and made the playoffs. We blew them off the field. Steelers went 9-8 last year in a better AFC, didn't make the playoffs and the 49ers rolled them in Heinz.

49ers were ahead of us already in most polls. They didn't do anything to lose that nod over us IMO.
