Your Ideal Second Round

In any case, I just hope we get another second round pick. If we got two picks in the second round we could get two playmakers at OL, S, positions we need. After that anything else is basically irrelevant considering how good of a draft it will have already been.

According to the trade value chart, it gets us near the top of the 4th round.

According to the updated trade values provided by AdamJT13, it would yield pick 29 in the 3rd round.

According to the chart based on actual trades, the 119th and 125th picks would get us up to No. 93 or 94.

However, in 2000, the 119th and 154th picks were enough to get up to No. 86.

So, we'd probably be looking at the middle to late third round for our two fourth-rounders.

We trade both our fourth rounders for another pick in the second (not sure where that would get us), snag Nate Allen before the 49ers at 49 and take Charles Brown with our 59th assuming Arizona passes on him.

The rest of the draft can just go to hell if it turns out like that.
The two fourths get us into the mid-late round 3...but maybe throw in a player or two and we could have another second rounder.

I wouldn't hate Taylor Mays in the 2nd.

I know I'll catch a lot of "redundancy" criticism but I think a combination of Allen, Burnett, or Mays paired along with Kindle [Which will be a cold day in Hell if he lands to us] and an OL would make my draft...

A nasty but vulnerable defense gets nastier and we build up a young guy on the OL and use the draft/FA next year to plug the holes.

Nate Allen.

Add an OL or two, an ILB, and maybe a CB....and I'm stoked.

Saffold. Give Romo some protection so he can get the weapons the ball.

Vladimir Ducasse, OT, Massachusetts (Round 2)
Marshall Newhouse, OG/OT, TCU

Chris Cook, CB/FS, Virginia (Round 2)
Morgan Burnett, FS, Georgia Tech (Round 2)
Chad Jones, SS, LSU (Round 2)
Nate Allen, FS, South Florida (Round 2)
Akwasi Owusu-Ansah, CB, Indiana (PA) (Round 2-3)

Brandon Ghee, CB, WakeForest (Round 2)
Amari Spievey, CB, Iowa (Round 3)

Sean Lee, ILB, Penn St (Round 2-3)

give me a couple of these guys

Stephen mentioned 3 WOW selections, so I'm going to say Taylor Mays, Charles Brown, or Sean Lee.

Can you imagine drafting Bryant and Mays, too big, athletic guys who feel wronged by the world and who are determined to prove their critics wrong and make other teams in the NFL pay?

I like the sound of that.
