You can move this thread if it's in the wrong forum... what are y'all's experience with the standing room only/party pass tickets? I probably wouldn't care but my BFF and I are trying to take her daughter (my niece) who's 15 to her first football game ever. My BFF seems to think that sitting would give us more "energy" and more of an experience but it's like a hundred bucks more per ticket for the cheapest seated tickets. So would it suck for me to take my niece into standing room where she may not see anything at all? Or should we just go to the game and try to buy tickets there from random scalpers that might be cheaper?

I appreciate your thoughts and feel free to move the thread if it's in the wrong place.

PS My BFF keeps telling me I will have to control myself if there are Indy fans around b/c she knows how I get and she wants me on good behavior in front of my niece. LOL! I say she's gotta learn how to deal with haters sooner or later...

I've walked over to check out the party pass area. Like others have said, you probably can't see the field unless you get there early. There is a good view of the game on the end video board and on an outside video board. I guess it depends on how much the 15 year old is into the game. The PP area would definitely be fun for single adult or even older high school kids.

If you get seats, I would avoid the end-zone. If you had a choice of 2nd level end-zone or 4th level mid-field, I would go with the 4th level.

Yeah, if she were older, I'd say let's just deal with the party pass. What's funny is when she was 13 we took her to London to see her "man" Daniel Radcliffe (of Harry Potter fame) in a play on the West End. She was determined to get his autograph. So my BFF made ME stand by the stage door with her. When he came outside it was a complete SCRUM (to rival any fumble in the NFL) of kids and adults alike. I had to physically back them all off her to get the coveted autograph and I'm like a buck 10 soaking wet. It was hilarious. So she's kinda of used to that kind of madness.

On second thought, I think I'd get SUPER annoyed if I couldn't see the field at ALL times for a game like this... I think we might just take our chances getting tix AT the game from some scalper. Guessing the price will drop after kick off? For UT games you can always get cheaper tix after the kick off...I might try craigslist too but I'm scared of getting scammed. Agh! I wish I was made of Jerry Jones Money! lol! :(

I would definitely stay away from Craigslist. It's too easy to get scammed. I would be weary of scalpers as well. As a season ticket holder we have complete control of our tickets especially if stolen. We have the option of downloading our tickets in pdf format for print at home or to sell on the secondary market. Once you download it invalidates the actual hard copy of the ticket. With that in mind you could be purchasing a hard copy ticket that has already been printed at home or has been sold on the secondary market through the print at home option. For Rangers,Mavs or Stars games I will only buy through StubHub and other secondary sellers that guarantee their tickets. It's too risky unless you are buying from someone you know.

wow... I wasn't aware of that... that really is awful! So it's a real ticket but it's invalid... ugh, I guess I have to convince everyone to spring for stubhub.... wish me luck! Thanks for letting me know this.

Yeah people these days with their scams is pretty bad and with it being so near Christmas I'm sure they will be out in higher numbers. If you have anymore questions ask away or shoot me a PM. Best of luck finding tickets!

I did party pass a few years ago. I recommend buying regular seats. Like others have said you have to get there early to get a spot on a rail to be able to see the field. And if u leave to use the restroom you will likely give up your spot. I didn't get a rail spot and ended up watching the game via the jumbo tron...
