What we did to them last year is meaningless. Rosters are different. The Eagles improved in the offseason, adding legitimate proven players. We have taken a much riskier approach banking on rookies and has beens like Fowler to fill large roles and make immediate impacts.
Their schedule is a joke this year, especally early. They won 9 games last year with a mediocre Hurts and riding a soft schedule and likely can do the same this year. Hurts isn't gonna light the world on fire but if he could get them 9 wins last year, he can probably get them at least that in 2022 (obviously assuming health factors, etc).
You'll also note nowhere did I say they will win the division this year. I said I think if we want to win it, 12 games is probably the safe total. I think Philly can get to 10-11 wins largely because their schedule is laughable and they can pack on some wins early against some really bad teams.
