I found a 2003, 100th Anniversary Fatboy that I really like. I offered the guy my shotgun and my Ford for it. He's thinking about it. He can't ride it any more. I've got my fingers crossed.

 Not THEE shotgun!?!!

What I really want is to find a basket case Indian or Panhead and restore it from the frame out. I don't have the time, but dang I have always wanted to do that.

If you did have the time, they're still out there. I found a guy about 100 miles form me that had over 25 old bikes laying around. Indians, Pans, Knuckles, Vincents, Triumphs, etc, in all conditions. He had an Indian that needed minimal work (probably just a rebuild) and it wasn't missing anything important whatsoever. I almost bought a Shovel from him but someone else beat me to it. :banghead:

There's a yard full of any kind of bike you'd want(to rebuild) just south of Payson......................right before you get into town, on the right.

If you've got the time. ;)

Are you serious? Do you know who owns them? Or is it simply a scrap yard?

Just because it came from Roy's golf tournament doesn't mean its his number...it's obviously a tribute to Lynn Scott.:laugh2:

That would be a lot of fun and very rewarding. The expansion of my family has caused me to move on to wanting to build a hot rod of the four wheel variety so that all 3 of us can ride together.

Good luck on your search and eventual project.

There's a 55 Chevy Bel Air about 3 miles from me for sale. It definitely needs a paint job. It's pink and black right now.
