Your thoughts - Beasley resigned after this year?

If we lose Beasley in free agency, I truly hope we trade a second rounder to the Steelers for Switzer and welcome him back home. I think we can all get on board with that kinda move. We need small, white-ish, WR’s.

Beasley thinks he is a #1. The Cowboys just mase it clear they don't.

Here’s the thing, we won’t pay him the moon. But who will? I believe we will value him more than other franchises — shall be seen with time.

I’d like to keep him,but I’m drafting another slot man. His cost will be too high for that role. They were talking about that on today’s show I think, and the number $9 mil was floating around....they said pass,I agree.

By the looks of it, Dak will be here... So if Beasley is... He is dumb... But yeah, I would resign him.

Isnt Randall Cobb considered a slot WR?
The last contract he signed was a 4 year/40 million deal.
If Cole expects this or anything close, sayanora!

Beasley is a great player, a team like NE would make amazing things with him .

This is the part people don't seem to get.

Signing Beasley is a two way street. He doesn't seem happy here. And shouldn't be.

If you were Beasley, wouldn't you want out of this offensive clown show ASAP?

Even our strategy is bad for him. He should be on a pass first team, and on the field all the time. Like a starter. He's actually more *valuable* to a pass first team than he is here.

Beasley is *so* gone. I had hoped that he would take the bird in the hand with the offer we gave him, to lock in his money, not have to move, not have to upend his life, etc. That he declined tells me he wants to improve his lot in life. From money, play time, and an offense that fits him, that means he goes elsewhere.

As I've stated before, I'm a huge fan of Beas. Owned his Jersey for over 2 yrs now...but being on a run first team that considers him little more than a slot WR limits his earning potential here. I doubt Dallas is thinking more than 4-5 mill a yr for a complimentary player. If he wants 9 or more he's out of luck. It sucks that he'll likely be with either the Pack or the Pat's next yr

Yep, he's gone. Can't say I'd blame him either.

The only caveat is that if JG is fired, he might be convinced to stay.

Maybe even if just Linehan goes.

But I doubt it. Beasley should be on a team whose base is 3 wide. He's more valuable there. He's wasted here.

Assuming he is not asking for the moon, does he get signed?

He's not an idiot

I'm sure he loves the guys in the locker room but at the end of the day you need to look out for number one

He can go somewhere else and be a lot more productive with a quarterback that can take advantage of his considerable talents

Dallas is going to lowball him because they think he can't produce anymore. Our team management won't ever stop to consider that maybe it's the guy throwing him the ball that's causing the problem with his production

Happened with Dez. It'll happen again

Lather. Rinse. Repeat
