Really, the only two players I don't like are Bowe and Jarvis Moss.

I'm torn

1. Meachem
2. Blalock
3. Revis

Personally I hope we trade back and take whoevers left. Pretty good crop of players that are all about the same potential wise at the bottom of the first.

Marshawn Lynch will be gone and I can't tell you how pissed off I would be if we drafted him. Rule of thumb. If he isn't a RB freak-show. (like Peterson) He isn't #1 round calibre.

I'm not big on Meacham either. He is a nice player, but to much other talent in the #1 round to draft him. I would snap up Bowe though.

Even though there is risk involved, I would snap up Branch to be NT behind Ferguson. Ferguson could give him tutelage and this guy can handle two blockers. He just needs some time with someone who knows how to do it. As for his motor; it's a risk, but that can be changed. For his a attitude. Well, I think Goodell (and Jerry for that matter) has made it clear, bs isn't going to fly.

He has to much of everything you want in a dominate NT to let him pass.

a rb freak show like blair thomas, ki-jana carter, rashawn salaam or lawrence phillips? or maybe a steady workhorse like emmitt, martin, or larry johnson

3. Darrelle Revis - People forget that Newman turns 29 this season, Henry is 30 years old and Aaron Glenn is 35 years old. I'm pretty high on Jacques Reeves, but he's still a bit of an unknown at this point despite playing so well in 2005. Revis would be more of a BPA pick that can help us fill a void in the future. Although I'm a bit skeptical of either Jones or Phillips selecting a CB as neither have been very good at selecting CB's in the past 10 years (Newman and Reeves were Parcells picks IMO).

YAKUZA

Agreed. We are old at WR and CB and could use an infusion of young talent at both positions.

I'd like to see us go CB, WR, and either OL/LB on the first day (in no particular order) to address some of these issues.

1. Patrick Willis (not gonna happen)
2. Aaron Ross (would like the pick, especially in a trade down. best CB in the draft, IMO)
3. Alan Branch (probably not gonna happen either)

*Jason Hill (second round please)

All Defense...All Day BABY!!!

1st Round

1. Darrelle Revis
2. Jarvis Moss
3. Aaron Ross

2nd Round

1. Michael Griffin
2. Eric Wright
3. Anthony Spencer

3rd Round

1. Quentin Moses
2. Quincy Black
3. Courtney Brown

4th Round

1. Paul Soliai
2. Antonio Johnson
3. Kareem Brown

Can you imagine if we got Revis, Griffin, Moses and Soliai all in that order!

Draft grade: A+

For those that are WR starved, I decided to show nothing but in the later rounds. Just remember, that we drafted a pretty good one named Crayton in the 7th round (215th pick). I know we have extra picks here, but I think we'll trade most of them to move up anyway.

Here you go....

5th Round

1. Mike Walker
2. Laurent Robinson
3. Jacoby Jones

6th Round

1. Legedu Naanee
2. Dallas Baker
3. Mike Mason

7th Round

1. DJuan Woods
2. Jarrett Hicks
3. Ryan Moore

3. Paul Posluzny, ILB, Penn State. If Willis isn't there he fits the bill.

He really had a tough time in the 3-4 last year with Penn State and it wasn't just because of his knee.

If you watch him in a 4-3, he is much more natural. I would not spend a high choice on him, and simply because he would not be able to provide the type of athleticism that I believe Coach Phillips' scheme will employ.

My best case scenario has Lynch available to us and we could do what I believe we were trying to do with Maroney last year, which is trade Jones and then use the additional choice to manuever.

I do anticipate that we could have a good chance to take our pick of cornerbacks not name Hall. That would be nice, as would the WR choices, which would include players like Ginn, Jarrett or Meachem.

I also believe Branch could drift lower than many people believe.

We have an excellent chance to get a good value and I would hope we are not in love with any particular player and ignore that.

It was his first year Inside. I believe he has natural football instincts. That's why I like him so much.

I would love it if we could get Lynch and then move Julius as you suggest. The one thing about getting a RB other than Julius though is that if that RB performs it means we use Barber less. I'll trade it though for better overall production.

The reports on Branch are reminding me of similar ones on Jimmy Kennedy of Penn State a few years ago. At one time I'd have loved to see Branch there at 22. Now I'm less interested even though he could potentially fill a big need with Fergy getting up there in age.

There have been a bunch of big DTs that bombed after being picked in the first rd- and they all looked like Branch; over weight and under motivated. I have yet to see someone like that suddenly become motivated and stay that way.

I like you list but I think I would Offensive Line2 ahead of Offensive Line1.

1. Ted Ginn, Jr followed by a second round pick of Michael Griffin
2. Aaron Ross followed by a second round pick of Anthony Gonzalez
3. Okoye followed by a second round pick of J. Blaylock

1 has most upside and potential for gain/bust
2 is most conservative and meets needs
3 most unlikely, but solidify's both lines.

I like your 1 and 2 options.

Three most likely to drop and the order I'd want them

Ginn
Meachem
Merriweather

Jarrett
