Yes, he should. The laws of today apply, not the laws of the future. He knew the rules, and he transgressed them. He should be sitting.Until it is, he will be sitting. He shouldn't be, tho. Shame.
You're a day late and a dollar short to the discussion, Tyke. There's plenty of post in here from yours truly to get a firm grasp of my point of view.Yes, he should. The laws of today apply, not the laws of the future. He knew the rules, and he transgressed them. He should be sitting.
But I'll humor you, it's the laws of today that I'm debating. Please read my posts. DankeYes, he should. The laws of today apply, not the laws of the future. He knew the rules, and he transgressed them. He should be sitting.
Police state is getting old; oh, forgot we're free yada yada. Just messin but this is how I view the issue 100%.Until it is, he should be sitting.
Amen!Police state is getting old; oh, forgot we're free yada yada. Just messin but this is how I view the issue 100%.

Gregory is being used as a scapegoat for a dated stance taken mainly for the sake of profit from outside revenue generated by the NFL via alcohol contracting and advertisement; by the league not fans. Go by the way of the NHL where they don't test and actually offer support instead of punishment; thanks for that info Haley regarding the NHL's much more modern approach. If you go out the night before a game; you're going to be sweating booze but be totally legal to suit up and play; Gregory smokes his bong at home and can't play? I personally think it's something to with a much smarter/supportive fan population with so many teams being in Canada and that being there national sport. Canada understands this issue 1000 times better than our culture (we like to blame, they like to help, etc.) and with the embrace of science n junk, etc.

I get that point w/ya too, but logic MUST come into play. Not pushing for a society of anarchy where everyone picks and chooses the laws they want to follow. At the same time, there are some common sense issues that seems progress can be made and almost deal the "problem away" w/common sense and poll trends with gen. public regarding legalization.I used to feel that way but I'm starting to change my position on it. We've got way too many people running around right now thinking that, because their cause is just, they can do whatever they want to.
People that didnt get to see these guys play missed out. All warriors.Honor:

I've heard these arguments ad nauseam. They're all the same. But I'll humor you, it's the laws of today that I'm debating. Please read my posts. Danke
I've read the arguments from your side, ad nauseum (a much, much more prevalent opinion on this site), they're all the same...I've heard these arguments ad nauseam. They're all the same.
I stand by my comments, however. If a law is in place and you violate it, then you got what you should because you voluntarily violated the law understanding the consequences.
Correct.I used to feel that way but I'm starting to change my position on it. We've got way too many people running around right now thinking that, because their cause is just, they can do whatever they want to.
So. What does that have to do with what I said? Laws are in place for a reason. You don't have to like them, and you can work to change them. But until you do, if you violate the laws, there is a consequence. Therefore, the consequences you receive you should get because you voluntarily made the decision to go against the rules.I've read the arguments from your side, as nauseum (a much, much more prevailing opinion on this site), they're all the same...
Ok? Thanks, Tyke. I feel enlightened.So. What does that have to do with what I said? Laws are in place for a reason. You don't have to like them, and you can work to change them.
